Great Family Stay in a Fantastic Location
Pros:
* The hotel felt very safe and is in a fantastic location. It’s only a short walk to Punta Prima beach, close to the airport, and there’s a supermarket right on the doorstep with everything you could need.
* The front of house staff were always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Even gave me a little welcome gift for my big upcoming birthday was a lovely touch.
* Our apartment was cleaned daily, had excellent air conditioning, and the shower was powerful and always had plenty of hot water.
* The food was fresh every day with a good variety, so there was always something to choose from.
* The pool was a great size for families with young children. It had a lovely shallow depth and was a comfortable temperature.
* We also loved the friendly hotel cats, which were a hit with the children!
A few areas for improvement:
* The apartment felt quite small for a family of four, particularly with the sofa bed in the living area. The main issue was that it was very bright at night for anyone sleeping there due to the amount of light coming in. That said, many hotels seem to follow a similar one-bedroom apartment layout nowadays.
* The pool could do with a few minor cosmetic touch-ups, although it was still lovely to use every day.
* The restaurant overlooks some empty land with graffiti on the walls, which isn’t the nicest view while eating.
* The Wi-Fi dropped out several times a day and needed reconnecting regularly.
* Evening entertainment could be improved slightly, especially for younger children. Even a simple hour of music, games or a mini kids’ session would make a big difference, as there wasn’t much happening on most evenings. (This does also appeal to some however so maybe what some are after)
* On our last day, there was an unfortunate misunderstanding when our three-year-old son was trying to put some money into the tip jar. The chef appeared to think he was playing with it and quickly took it away, which upset him and left him in tears. We believe it was simply a miscommunication rather than anything intentional.
A few tips for future guests:
* You can put bar and evening drinks on a tab throughout your stay and settle the bill when you check out, which is really convenient.
* The Ting Ting train is a fun little trip, especially for children, although we did feel it was a bit expensive for what it is.
* If you’re travelling with younger children (especially under six), we’d highly recommend a day pass at the nearby Seth hotel. The splash park there is fantastic and our little one absolutely loved it.
Overall, we had a lovely stay at Comitas Isla del Aire. Despite a few minor issues, they certainly didn’t spoil our holiday. The great location, friendly staff, good food and family-friendly atmosphere meant we left happy and would definitely consider returning in the future!

A Brilliant Choice for Young Families

A lovely family experience
There were a couple of nights with entertainment which is across the road from the hotel so not disturbing anyone with small children. Nothing brilliant but they tried!!
If you want a safe it’s €3 per day but we did feel it was a very safe place. The air conditioning was brilliant and most upstairs apartments had two balconies
Most people seemed to sit out in their gardens playing cards or having a quiet drink. Maybe a bit quiet if you have teenagers but the beach and row of restaurants is about 300m away. The beach was very busy but lovely. Really clear water with lots of fish. We went down after our meals and it was much quieter then.
There are about 8 restaurants of varying quality. Mostly serving the same things but all very nice and welcoming.
All in all I’d certainly recommend the resort and the hotel

Great holiday!
Whilst we were away , I knew of at least 4 returning families, which I think says a lot about what people think about the place!
Our room was clean and well equipped and the garden space we had was absolutely excellent for young children to play in, and us adults to relax in our own sun beds. Our welcome drink was a nice touch and , as returning guests, we also had a bottle of fizz left in the room and some sweets for the kids.
The pool area is quiet, plenty of beds for everyone and whilst we were away the pool was lovely and warm due to the hot weather!
Can’t speak highly enough of the staff who have been excellent and kind to us both times we’ve stayed. There seems to be quite a low turnover as mainly similar staff in 2024 and 2026 - again I think a good sign. Can’t thank Veronica, Miguel, Manuel and David enough for everything they did to make our stay welcoming and enjoyable.
We enjoyed the food and felt it was varied enough for us for a week’s stay. We always arrived quite early on so found the food to be fresh and warm.
I’d really recommend this hotel for anyone with food allergies - my son was treated like a King on both visits and more importantly, I felt completely satisfied he was safe. Highly attentive and kind staff who couldn’t do enough for us.
It’s a quiet hotel in a quiet resort, but with just enough to do with a young family - great pool with kids section which is super shallow to splash about in, play park , toy room, pool table and not forgetting the resident cat, Rasputin, who was a big hit with our daughter.
In our opinion, this is a great place to visit if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday in a quiet, but beautiful resort with a stunning beach, a handful of shops and cafes and good links to other areas of Menorca including Mahón.

Another great family holiday!
It’s a quiet and friendly resort- not for people who want huge pools and lots of entertainment, but we love the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Staff are great and always happy to help, apartments cleaned every day. Nice playground by the restaurant where children can play as their parents relax with a drink!
It’s one minute from a supermarket so very convenient to pick up supplies, and the beach is down the road with a few restaurants and a couple of bars. We hired a car which we think is a must as there are so many beautiful coves and towns to explore. We hope to back again soon
