Clean, friendly staff. Possibility to store luggage before check in and after check out.
Rooms in average size.
I don’t know if it was a temporary problem but the shower water wasn’t hot.

I am writing this to express my deep shock at the treatment I received at TOC Hostel Madrid (Booking Code: 26050652293). As a 60-year-old professional journalist and a seasoned traveler who has visited over 30 countries, I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior.
I had a confirmed booking from May 8th to May 11th. My only "offense" was politely inquiring about Halal food options to respect my dietary requirements. Not only was I met with a rude response regarding a simple request for a cup of tea and an apple, but the management subsequently terminated my reservation and forced me to vacate the premises immediately without any valid legal or safety justification.
Evicting a guest of my age and background over a dietary inquiry is a grave violation of basic hospitality standards and felt like an act of discrimination. It is deeply humiliating to be treated this way after paying in full for a service.
I have officially requested the "Hoja de Reclamación" to document this incident with the Spanish Tourism Authority. I expect a formal apology and an immediate full refund for the nights I was not allowed to stay.
I strongly advise fellow international travelers, especially seniors, to be aware of how guests are treated here.

Unsatisfied, a catastrophic experience!
The big problem is that the room has nothing to do with the photos.
We are really dissatisfied and do not recommend this hotel.

Madrid with family
Rooms 4 minimal brand new furniture
The only thing I didn't like is the fact that I didn't have a real bathroom (the sink was at the entrance of the room and in front of two doors one for the shower the other for the toilet) without a window.
Breakfast 4 (both sweet and savoury)
Common areas 5 is a very nice historic building
Kitchen 2 is not acceptable for customers to wash dishes all with the same sponge and then things are stored for breakfast without being sanitized in the dishwasher.
Luggage Storage 3 ( because of fee )
Very quiet hostel recommend it also for families
