Very clean and good value for money

The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable and everything is very clean. The heating is by hot water radiators, something that is appreciated because in most of the most modern hotels have heat pump. It is a hotel from the 90's but is very well maintained.
The staff is very friendly, both at the reception, Almudena is very close and solicitous, as in the restaurant.
It is very easy to reach from the Hospital de San Juan de Dios area and the car parks very well in the front of the hotel.
Very good value for money.

Bad.

My opinion is about the restaurant. The salad is made of plastic bag, which comes prepared. We ordered octopus and it was hard, no, the following. And cheesecake, regular.

without air conditioning, impossible in summer

We left after 5 minutes, just seen the room: it lacks both air conditioning and a fan, with Leon's 40 degrees it was not possible to think about staying. Friendly and understanding staff

Avoid in a heatwave

Clean, airy and spacious, this hotel is located at the crossroads of Portugal and France (and neighbouring countries). The design is very mid-1990s, thus no air conditioning and few sockets in the bedrooms for the usual appliances that an average family uses (shaver, electric toothbrush and digital devices). Breakfast was ok but we went out into Leon centre for evening meal, based on the recommendations of TripAdvisor reviewers.
