Great location and room

Welcome was a bit of unusal as I had booked online, but the receptionist couldn't find the booking under my name, even after viewing my passport. In the end I had to show them the email confirmation of the booking to confirm my room. Seems that someone had transcribed my name incorrectly into their handwritten diary? Room was very nicely decorated. Good nights sleep. Good location right on the harbour and within 200m of many restaurants and several supermarkets.

Central but no more

Hotel located in the center and rather clean. For the rest, Welcoming unprofessional (the receptionist did not find us on the booking list although we had our confirmation and she spoke neither English nor French), low-end bedding and very poorly insulated room. Finally, we left at 9:15 in the morning and there was no one at the reception. Paid parking (and quite expensive) 150 m otherwise difficult in season to park on free spaces.

PLEASE READ THIS VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE

Catastrophic boss and boss worthy of a disrespectful and lamentable drunkard.
My son and his pregnant partner booked in this hotel because there were no more free rooms in our hotel and we confirmed it when they arrived in Cadaqués by going to see the owner of this hotel hostel Cristina, he confirmed it to them that the room was booked for the next day as planned for them because when they arrived in Cadaques they were with us and then our hotel was full.
Surprise the next day my son and my daughter-in-law go to this hotel and the boss throws them away like trash and announces that the room is no longer reserved for them.
Unacceptable and shameful, I was mad with rage, the hotel where we were couldn't believe this situation.
I wanted to write this review so that this does not happen to you and take these precautions with this type of phenomenon which does not care about 2 young people who find themselves without accommodation even though it is the month of August and all hotels are full in this season.

Helpful

Missed the boat back to Roses. The chap on reception was very helpful as he phoned a taxi for us from Roses to collect us from his hotel to drive us back to Roses. We didn't stay here but if had I am sure from the helpful staff we would have very much enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location and we would like to thank Ron for his helpful scooping up of the bacon butties and our bad admin all round. We are now safely back in Roses. Thank you Ron you saved our bacon.
