Welcoming, spacious, clean, and modern.

The Wellness complex including the hotel is about 40-45 minutes drive from central Valencia. The complex is fronted by a main reception, with separate buildings leading from it to the Gym (indoor & outdoor), restuarant, tennis courts, swimming pool, and spa (dirdctly connected to the hotel), and the hotel itself.
Depending on the room and package you buy, some, or all of these facilities are available, as is underground parking.
Travel links using bus or train are minimal. Taxis are available, but require advance booking. Shopping, and tourist venues are also very sparse locally.
A car is essential to make best use of the complex.
We went for a double room, including breakfast. We didn't use the sports facilities at all, so can't comment on their quality, although they looked good from outside.
The room was spacious, clean and had a good size bathroom, with a smaller seating area. The bed was very comfortable.
The toilet was a smart model, so the seat raised and lowered itself, had manual and auto flush, a heated seat, with bidet facilities.
We did have a problem with the smart toilet twice, but the maintenance team were superb. They attended quickly both times, and nothing was too much trouble.
The shower was a waterfall type, with extra flexible head attachment. Very good pressure, clean shower stall and plenty of associated shower accessories included (soaps, bodywash, etc)
The towels were plentiful, and if left in the shower stall were changed by the cleaning personnel.
The room was cleaned daily, and it was of a very good standard. A door sign (do not disturb, or make up the room) was available and it's use is recommended.
The air conditioning was good, but as we were there during a heatwave (max 41 degrees), and our balcony faced the sun, even through closed curtains, the room did get quite hot (max 27 degrees). During the night the room temperature did drop, and it became more comfortable.
There was an in-room safe which could be programmed individually, and plenty of hanging storage, with several drawers, and cupboard space.
There were lots of available power sockets too [type F adapter]
The restaurant (breakfast) was open 8am to 11:30am. It gets busy, so sometimes there was a short wait before a table was cleared. The breakfast menu is small, with some variation.
It is NOT a buffet.
You select one item from each sub-section, and it's bought to you.
For example: 1 bottle of water, 1 orange juice, 1 coffee, 1 pastry, 1 bowl of [cereal or yoghurt], 1 main [5 choices].
The food is fresh and light, but filling too. It seems designed to supplement the use of the sports facilities.
The orange juice is freshly made, the coffee excellent, the yoghurt smooth, but a little sour, and the various mains are very good.
Ovetall, the staff have a mixture of Spanish (predominant language) and English (minimal). Be prepared to to use a translator, or attempt to speak Spanish.
The staff we encountered were very good, and were very helpful.
All in all a very good, high quality complex. We'd recommend it.

Only the restroom is acceptable.

Prices are very inflated for a 4-star hotel; the pool is nice but feels like a hot tub. The worst part is that they charge you €150 without notifying you at reception (it appears in small print) and refund it when you check out. In other words, you spend more than €200 for the room and add €150 more... the only redeeming feature is the bathroom, which is futuristic.

It’s a lovely hotel with endless sporting and spa facilities. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The electric heated toilet is just incredible to behold. The only drawback was that the breakfast doesn’t open until 08:00hrs. For me on a business trip, this was too late.

A nice hotel with the electric toilet a highlight

This was just a quick overnight business stay - I wish I could have stayed longer. There is a variety of sporting options from indoor / outdoor swimming to gym and padel. The highlight of the room is the electric toilet. It needs to be experienced although I was not brave enough to try the intimate button!
My only fault would be the rock hard pillows.

Dire customer service

The hotel facilities are good but the restaurant's customer service is the worst I've ever seen.
The attitude of some waiters is nefarious, disrespectful and not listening to customers. It's the second time we've come, and twice a very bad experience with the staff.
When you pay for breakfast included, they don’t have half the products.
We'll never come back.
