Pleasantly surprised

Just returned from a 5 night stay half board at this hotel. Was worried what to expect after reading some reviews. I’m not sure what some people expect from a 3 star hotel! We were really pleased with the room, cleanliness, friendly staff. The meals obviously not as varied as in 4 star hotels but always enough choice. I was preparing to eat out ever day after reading reviews but the only time we ate out was because we wanted to go out for a tapas evening and the hotel let you choose if you want lunch or dinner so that day we ate lunch and went out for dinner. Lunch in the hotel was lovely. Plenty beds around pool area . Right next to park. Good animation. Never stayed in on the evenings so can’t comment on that. Yes it’s a walk uphill from old town but we knew that before we went and didn’t bother us but if you have walking difficulties it could be a problem. Close to buses. For what we paid we were really pleased and would definitely stay there again if the price was right.

Benidorm Belles wonderful mini break

After reading the reviews on The Prince Park I was a little worried what my walking group and I were going to think of it.....well all I can say is for a three star hotel all our rooms were immaculate. Terrific shower, clean room, plenty of hangers, good size balconies and comfy beds.
We found the breakfasts had a good variety of continental and English breakfasts.
Location good. Staff very friendly and helpful. We went with Jet2holidays and couldn't fault anything from start to finish. To end our mini break we really enjoyed the entertainment in the hotel too.

Give This A Miss, !

Prince Park Benidorm. **Stars.
Well what can I say ? Unfortunately nothing good ! But plenty of negatives that you may wish to read.
1. The noise from rooms above other rooms below was unbelievable. You can hear every foot step took ,every drawer opened and worst of all the screeching noise when beds were moved. No sound proofing what so ever. Even worse when this happened after midnight on most evenings waking us both from our sleep.
2. The same can be said for the corridors on levels leading to rooms.
3. Some guys playing football after 11pm in the corridor on our level 6.
4. The food selections were good plenty of cold meats and salads for evening dinner, but my or my the hot buffet for both breakfast and evening dinner was cold ! ( This could be easily rectified but on reading reviews by others from last year, same problems)
5. The pool area is ok, but! look out for flying bodies whilst you are trying to swim as Spanish & British teenagers performing Bodie Slams & Bombies. One flying body missed me by inches, and if connected I would have broken bones and an expensive hospital bill.
6. The drinks list is deceiving as the ciders etc served are not the ones advertised in their menu and are expensive for a lesser quality brand.
7. No pool towels available, you have to use the ones in your bathroom.
8. Not a place for a couple to have a relaxing stay as lots of young children and babies. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, to good satisfaction, but this is not one of them ! Do not spoil your holiday by staying at Princes Park - Benidorm. Book elsewhere!!! .

Good value for money.

Arrived at the Prince Park Hotel in June ‘26, with my teenage/adult children and a friend and her children.
Hotel was in a good location around 5/10 mins from the old town be warned it is up a hill so if you struggle maybe avoid.
Hotel was clean but basic. Lifts are slow - best to walk up and down if able.
Rooms cleaned daily and cleaners very friendly. Rooms small but we had 3 people in our room. Beds seemed hard at first and i wasn’t looking forward to sleeping in it, but once in bed i found it really comfy and slept well.
Air con wasn’t the best, I did take a fan with me and used that as well as the air con through the night.
Loads of storage space though and our balcony was really big as we were at the end.
Pool area small but to be fair plenty of sun loungers available even after breakfast.
There were some games going on and some activities also around the pool. Which we didn’t join in with as was out and about most days.
Breakfast and dinner good.
Not a lot of choice but managed to find something! I’ve fussy teens (19 and 17) and a one a vegetarian but they managed to find something to eat most nights or grabbed something whilst out and about.
The food and drink at the bar was well priced and the bar food was lovely.
All in all It was what i’d expect from a 3 star. Value for money and no complaints from us! Had a lovely time!
