Christmas shacks
It is the second time we have come from family escape to the huts and even happier than in the previous one. this time we chose a couple of cold and Christmas days in December, and nothing better than a good route, a barbecue and board games fanned by a good fire inside our hut.
the breakfast stupendous. the attention in polite and pleasant reception. cleaning of all the facilities. and a taste of mouth to return !!!!!!

El chozo regulín
I'll start with the positive.
The staff
Very comfortable beds
The surroundings, the proximity to the villages,
The not so positive:
The shack proved awkward. It has an uncomfortable layout, with 4 levels and very high steps. It is ZERO adapted to people with mobility problems (for those who need to know). One of the doors of the terminal is fixed with a mini bolt like those used in bathrooms, it is upstairs and difficult to fit. The entrance door (sliding) jams and it is hard to open it, you can hurt your leg if you try to help yourself by pushing with your leg. They told me that with the rains the ground had moved and had been squared, but anyway you see that they are many years old and even that they are taken advantage of elsewhere because they have gaps of having had shooter and having removed it. Get cold through the door. As it is sept I have had no problem but in winter it must be cold inside. There is a wall radiator in the bedroom attached to the bed but in only plug there is in the middle of the header and the cable does not arrive, so the radiator is to make the paripé. Same with the fan.
For those who go in groups know that they have the kitchen and on each side 3 beds. On the right side between the kitchen and the 3 beds is a table with chairs. On the second level, in front of the fireplace there are benches around a round table. The table has loose legs and besides, if the idea is that they can eat all around the table is impossible, because you do not reach from the bench.
Breakfast has everything but it struck me that being in the Cadiz mountain range that is famous for its honey and cheeses, we were put slice cheese and Mercadona honey

This place is hard to rate as it really depends on what you are looking for. Location is 10/10. We loved our stay here. Our goal was to be upon the mountains to do that and this place was perfect. we did several hikes directly from our front door. The views are spectacular, and you are well out of the hustle bustle of the city. There are not a lot of restraunts and you will need to get food and the small stores in ubrique. That being said this is more like glamping than a hotel. The facilities are dark with uncomfortable furniture (hard) and a minimalistic kitchen (we had plenty of spoons but no forks). There is no ac, we were there in the spring so this was not a problem and the rock walls kept things cool, not sure what it would be like in the summer heat. If you are looking for luxury, do not stay here. The place was very clean. No one speaks English so bring google translate on your cellular which will sort of work here. The wifi never worked for us even in the main building. we were told we could’t have breakfast so we made our own.

Beautiful location in the mountains (be aware that it obviously entails mountain roads). Inside, the chozo was much more spacious than it seems from the outside, immaculately clean, and well equipped for preparing simple meals, although the onsite restaurant was very good. Amazing place to connect with nature and disconnect from technology (although wifi has now been installed in all the chozos). Very attentive staff who helped us plan activities e.g. child-friendly walks in the area. The children are already asking when we can go back! (I'm hoping to return when the pool opens in May).

Absolutely Divine
The chozos is an absolutely divine stay its a rural experience which you need to do the hikes and walks and trails around are spectacular and the stay is fantastic we absolutely loved it and will return
