Gluten-Free and Lactose-Free Options
Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and modern rooms. The wellness area offers everything you need for a relaxing weekend getaway — two saunas, massages, and even a salt room, all in one place. A big advantage of the hotel is their attention to dietary needs: they offer gluten-free and lactose-free options and really go the extra mile to adapt the dinner menu. Overall, a perfect spot for a comfortable and stress-free stay!

Beautiful structure with potential
The property is beautiful but lacking beautiful details.
The bar closed and in the room there was not even a bottle of water, considering that in the area but we are bars or shops. Inside the room no minibar and bathroom lights not all working.
In order to recharge your car at night you must be back by 10 pm to have the column activated by the reception.
The staff is courteous and kind.

A Beautiful Gem in Ankaran
Our stay at the Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was peaceful and beautifully relaxing — especially the largest salt room in Slovenia, which was an incredible experience. You could truly feel the stress melt away.
A special thank you to Ula, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Her warmth and attention made all the difference and added such a personal touch to our visit.
Everything from the serene setting by the sea to the spa facilities made this stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy true Slovenian hospitality.

Overall, this property is okay, not the 4 stars though. Our room and shower cabin were tiny even for European standards. The shower door seal was broken with a lot of water leaking on the bathroom floor even with the door shut. Hotel’s location is good, near Trieste and accessible to a freeway to the beautiful areas of Slovenia and Croatia. Breakfast was plentiful to our taste. No swimming pool. Free parking with a sufficient number of stalls. Interesting fact that the elevator is turned off between 10pm and 7am. Not a big deal if you are capable of using stairs but would be a challenge for some folks.

We do not visit the hotel again
One thing first: I don't want to rate this hotel completely negatively, but just list the shortcomings. The hotel is clean and very modern. The staff at the reception was super friendly and our dog was warmly welcomed. The dog was also allowed on the terrace of the restaurant without any problems. Located very close to the sea, you can really be in the water in 2 minutes. For dogs it is also great, as there is a lot of greenery around the hotel.
Unfortunately, we left earlier and that was for the following reasons:
1. Opposite the hotel is a large hard court with many football goals and basketball goals. Many people may not mind, unfortunately it has touched a nerve with us, as we are already struggling with this noise pollution at home. We just can't stand it when people shoot against fences/goals and the ball keeps popping. However, I have to say that it was only ever temporary.
2. This thing really annoyed me a lot. I depend on gluten-free food and had asked before booking. Now I received a basket of Hanuta, cookies and unbaked cakes for breakfast. I had to explain to the waitress 3 times that you have to bake the cakes and she wants to read the instructions on the back. She was probably so annoyed by this that the next day I didn't receive any more cakes, but 2 slices of flabby toasted bread. The next day I received no cakes, but another lady did. I suspect it's caused too many circumstances to have to bake the cakes. So I had to run after my breakfast again. The lady then brought me a 20 second warmed bread, which was still raw. Hugely problematic for me as I'm pregnant. She didn't seem interested in that, though. There are really no words for this operation....
3. The reason for departure: under our room was built a construction site and he renovated pool. Our garden view was a view of a garbage heap. Underneath the room, the suppliers came at night and slammed doors, the staff regularly met loudly for smoking, but the worst was the construction noise. I credit the hotel for giving us a great new room and massages as compensation, but the new room was also next to the construction site. Unfortunately we had to leave.
I think the hotel is really fine all in all, but if you are dependent on gluten-free food and are a bit sensitive to noise, you might want to find another place to stay.
