Big potential poor execution

We stayed there for one night, not expecting (or getting) much.
The rooms looked clean at first glance however when you look closer you see a lot of spider webs and butterflies in the corners.
We got half of the blankets we needed, 1 less cover for the blankets. The owners politely gave us the rest we needed but it seems that there should be 4 blankets and towels when you order a 4 adults room.
Location wise, great place to stat if you need to go to Balea lake in the morning .

Owners smoking everywhere inside

Okay this is a pension, so we were not expecting anything wonderful... but the fact that the owners are smoking everywhere inside the building, even when we are having breakfast just next to them is really disgusting...
They are not particularly nice either ; communication is barely polite.
Apart from that, rooms are fairly clean, mattresses are bad, but not terrible. Rooms are quite spacious and we had a balcony overlooking a river.
I wouldn't recommend this place but if you want to daywalk in the Fagaras it is one of the few options available. It takes 45min to drive to Balea lake from here.
