Could be 5 stars

Nice quiet place, unassuming, smells of fresh pine. Rooms have balconies, fresh clean sheets, hot shower, and respectable views. They have a common kitchen where you can make your own breakfast, or just coffee. Don't expect room service or served meals as this place offers a good night's rest, safe and sound, and nothing more.
Would have rated it 5 stars if only they have sufficient parking space. Their meager parking area can only accommodate 2 vehicles and about 3 motorcycles by the roadside. From there, you take about 25-30 steps up the hill the find the hidden gem that it is.

Hidden Hill Inn

This is located at the top of a small hill so be prepared for a short hike. The beds and pillows are hard. The bathroom needs to be cleaned and I suggest that you bring a pair of flip flops you can use in the shower. They charge 350 pesos ($6.75) per person per night. This is basically a bed and a bathroom kind of place so don't expect hotel service.
It says that this is a non-smoking hotel but when we were there, there was a group of people drinking and smoking in the main entrance and the cigarette smoke wafted all the way up to the second floor.
There's no air conditioning, no refrigerator, no microwave. There is a small gas stove that you can use with a fee. They charge 30 pesos ($0.58) for a towel.
The roosters start making their morning crows before sunrise.

Our Sagada Home for 3 days

The Hidden Hill Inn is on top of a hill, which means from the street, you have to go up several stairs to reach the house. the room is basic, with pillows and blankets. bathroom shower has a heater but not the faucet water. I was hoping that there is an electric fan inside the room but unfortunately there's none. John, the owner is accommodating, he helps us check-in and even brought some of our bags.
The Inn has its own common kitchen where you can cook your own food. They also have a place for bonfire activity.
Just a recommendation: put railings so that people, especially the elders can go up the stairs with support. Also put lighting at the pathway so it will not be hard to go up and down the stairs.
Overall, our stay was great!

Everything was okay except...

This inn has everything from hot water to kitchen equipments so that you can cook if you'd like. The beds are comfy and the restroom is clean with no damaged pipes or shower heads. Essentially, the inn is practically new. One thing that is off is the location. It is the farthest inn along the road and the nearest restaurant is i think a kilometer away (maybe less) if im not mistaken. A sari sari store is relatively near so thats a plus. So consider these things when you decide to check in at Hidden Hill Inn.

Promise undelivered

I could have given an above average rating for this inn but two major flaws stopped me. The inn is clean, basic, no towels (but available upon request), no toiletries (so bring your own), has a kitchen where you can cook for a fee. The inn is situated on top of a hill and with a baby in tow, we asked for luggage assistance. We got the assistance that we needed but when Angie asked us if we brought some of our luggages up already and we said "yes," she made a side comment saying "ok. kasi hindi namin trabaho ang magdala ng lahat ng gamit nyo." It was rude, I thought. But I decided not to comment cause we just arrived. But it didn't leave a nice impression on us.
Overall, our stay was okay and the owner John was nice and all but when our water heater needed to be fixed as it was smoking,he promised that he will replace the plug the next day (Feb 25). We were out the next day and had high hopes that we will be able enjoy a warm shower afterwards but it was never fixed. I was annoyed when he said he wasn't informed about it (or maybe he forgot??) Whatever the reason was, we had to shower using cold water in a cold Sagada weather before we left early in the morning of Feb 26th. He did offer for us to use the driver's quarter across the street but we refused as we can't be out in the cold early in the morning.
There are lots of room for improvement for this inn-- 1. customer service 2. promises made has to be delivered.
