5 star for overall exeperience

Very affordable hotel - we are mostly out of the hotel anyway.
For the nightly rate to include a buffet breakfast is already a steal.
The room is clean and is mid-size. That too cramp but not comparable in size with usual hotel rooms.
The bathroom exhaust was really noisy but thankfully only when operating so its tolerable and a minor inconvenience.

Clean budget stay.

The hotel is clean and the bed comfortable for a one night stay.
Reminds me of my first college dorm room
Staff friendly and outgoing. Is a clean budget hotel.
Disappointed there was no safe. Approx 500 to 800 meter walk to SM Mall . Disappointed room had no soap or shampoo and the trash can still had previous persons trash. Not good.
Breakfast minimal. Bathroom small with a shower curtain but had hot water heater. Room was small but was ok.
Water is in the hall way and you fill up your own and take back to your room.

Decent stay

I stayed overnight in this hotel. Location is accessible and close to malls and nearby attractions. Staff are courteous and prompt. Phone in my room was not working so they gave me a mobile phone number instead. No bottled water inside the room but they have a pitcher and a glass and you can get the water from a dispenser in the hallway. I got a double standard room which is quite small for two persons but spacious for a solo traveller like me. The room was clean. No slippers and hair dryer in the bathroom but they provide toiletries. Limited choices for breakfast but it was acceptable for the price. For a budget hotel, they managed to meet the basic needs of a traveller. Overall, I had a pleasant stay in this hotel - comfortable and safe.

Breakfast joke

Don't pay for the breakfast it's a joke. No accommodation for international travellers. It's probably a good hotel for Filipinos but not for international visitors.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Stay somewhere else.im glad I booked for just 1 night now I can find a proper hotel

Figtree: Iloilo's Budget Hotel worth staying

In my recent trip to Iloilo to attend a conference at the Iloilo Convention Center (ICON), I booked at the Figtree Hotel, described as Iloilo’s Budget Hotel from November 12 to 15, 2024, where I had a pleasant experience that I would like to share.
This hotel is conveniently located in the Atria Park district, just a short distance from key attractions such as Plazuela de Iloilo and SM City Iloilo. Also, a few minute Grab ride to ICON. The hotel is approximately 17.5 km from Iloilo International Airport, making it easily accessible for travelers. Public transport options are nearby, with the SM City Iloilo bus stop within a 10-minute walk, which is quite convenient for exploring the city.
The hotel has rooms for single occupancy like what I booked to double occupancy with essential amenities. My room included a comfortable writing desk, air conditioning, (although at the time of my stay the aircon is dripping that you need to put a rug on the floor as absorbent, or else the room gets flooded with water. I already reported this to the in-charge) with free toiletries & 3-in-1 shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. The bathroom was well-appointed with both a bidet and a shower. Although the room I booked is somewhat compact, but it is well-designed and clean, providing a cozy atmosphere for rest after a day’s conference.
Figtree Hotel offers several amenities that enhanced my guest experience: free Wi-Fi in public areas, 24-hour reception and express check-in/out, room service and housekeeping. The hotel also provides a complimentary breakfast, which I found to be quite satisfactory during my stay.
One of the highlights of my stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I was fetched and brought back to the airport by Loyd, the hotel staff. The staffs were accommodating and eager to assist with any requests or inquiries I had. This level of service made my stay even more enjoyable and added a personal touch to my experience at the hotel.
My overall experience at Figtree Hotel was very positive. The combination of its strategic location, comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and reasonable pricing makes it an ideal choice for both short-term and extended stays in Iloilo City. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends who are looking for a comfortable place to stay while attending a conference, doing business, leisure trip or just simply exploring the vibrant culture and attractions of Iloilo.
