Central Chain hotel with friendly service, although they don't answer the phones!
I booked Seda Capitol for a short business trip in the Philippines, after a very pleasant stay at Seda Iloilo. The hotel is centrally located, which made getting around quite convenient. It does sit on a busy road, so traffic can be noticeable during weekdays, but on the bright side there are several restaurants nearby and the Bacolod Capitol is within comfortable walking distance.
Booking through their website was smooth and the price felt reasonable for what you get. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by friendly security staff and helpful bellhops, which always sets a good first impression. Check in was quick and efficient.
As expected from a chain hotel, the room amenities were very similar to Seda Iloilo. Everything felt familiar and functional. The bed was comfortable and I had a genuinely relaxing sleep after long workdays. Breakfast was also enjoyable, with a wide variety of options to start the morning properly.
Check out itself was fast and hassle free, and overall the stay was pleasant. The only hiccup came after I left. Despite being told that my invoice would be emailed, it never arrived and calls initially went unanswered. After several follow ups, I eventually received it.
A good stay overall amidst the invoice issue at the end. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Bacolod.

My SEDA times
SEDA is my go to in Bacolod because I feel safe and know that people are service-oriented. The room I had was nice and they did what they can to accommodate my requests. Food at the Misto was good and prices are ok.

Feedback
The staff are very helpful and generally very good the hotel needs some upgrading and the food needs more attention to quality. More healthly options and very important is the quality of the coffee is really poor. I always go to UCC next door for coffee. The coffee needs to be without sweatnesses added either in the coffee or the milk.
