Beautiful hotel close to shops and restaurants

This hotel is nice, clean and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The rooms are cute and feel authentic to Perú. The shower has hot water, there’s a restaurant onsite and the staff is super nice and helpful. There is a spa and souvenir shop on site as well. The room I was in had a large terrace which was very nice!

Hotel Prisma in Cusco Peru is sadly the worst, most gross hotel I’ve ever been to or had the misfortune of staying.

The staff at the Hotel Prisma were rude and un attentive. Rooms are dark, dirty, drafty and gross. The feeling of being exposed and not safe is overwhelming.

You pay the top price as a solo traveler and get the worst room without daylight

For a solo traveller with a disability, the rooms are not ok. Some solo travelers were given a room with 2 beds, others with 1 bed. The first night in room 212 was doable, there was still a bench where your suitcase can sit and had daylight. Room 213 has no window, just a window to the hall inside, where everyone walks past. This makes you feel unsafe. In addition, the room is so small that the suitcase can only be on the bed. Little room to sleep, then.

Very tired hotel, clean but feels more like a hostel

Only stayed at this place as it was part of a G Adventures tour. First night was awful. Kept awake with noise from the service area. Asked to be moved the following day due to noise and that the safe that we had reported the previous day that was not working had still not been addressed. We were moved to the 5th floor which is better than the 2nd for noise.
Breakfast is best described as edible and basic. Constantly running out of items and we had to ask staff to replace. Whilst staff brought what we asked for, I do not feel you should have to keep asking for milk to be replaced, coffee cups to be replaced, butter and serviettes etc.
Some staff were polite, others were indifferent. If I am honest it felt more like a hostel than a hotel. The hotel is dated and tired. The cleaners do a very good job keeping the place clean but really the hotel needs to be refurbished. Even got stuck in the lift which was a first for us! Fortunately this was our last day as if it wasn't we would not be using the lift again after that experience.
In terms of positives, it's a good location for the historical centre but you pay a price for noise. As per previous comment, the hotel was very clean and I think the cleaners do a very good job making the best of this very tired hotel......

Great place to stay

I stayed one night with my son before a trek (accommodation was organised by the trek company) and the staff were helpful and courteous - they let us check in early and kept our luggage in storage while we were on the trek even though we did not return to stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable with double glazing on the windows and glorious HOT WATER in the shower.
