Achab Campj
A very welcoming, comfortable and peaceful location, close to Windhoek and Swakopmund. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the tented camp, which was well-appointed, with great attention to detail.
I highly recommend Achab for a quick break.

Improving all the time
This was my second visit to Achab Campsite, we stayed at campsite 1. My first visit was in August 2018 and what a change has taken place! It is good to see that the owner(s) are reinvesting into their asset.
All campsites, I think there are 6, are very tidy, exclusive and well maintained. We experience a blocked washbasin but the next day it was fixed!! Well done to the workers and staff. By the way, they are very friendly and helpful, SUPER!!
Besides the neat and improved campsites, it was an absolute experience to see our otherwise dry country sooo green!! Especially in this part of the world. Last time out it was dull, black / grey and now lush green everywhere!!

Dreamy weekend at
Hellllllllooo. I wanted to still thank you! It was WONDERFUL!! Just a dreamy weekend and the site was perfect, we'll be back with our kids and recommend Achab anytime. The area was stunning, we went mountain biking and then also enjoyed the 4x4 trail for views and we also went on a hike around the area, so many Commiphoras and Quivertrees!!!! The camping site was neat and we'll planned, we went for camp 2 which had perfect shade all day. The showers were hot but pressure was a bit weak, which isn't too much of a problem. Your staff maybe next time should wait a while before chopping up wood at 0630am in the morning for the Donkey as it woke us up too early, but I know she meant well to give us hot showers. And the scruffy white dog stole our swimming costume which we hung out to dry, which luckily your gardener returned back to is without any damage. But all facilities are great and such a perfect desert retreat. The pool area was also well manicured, a real paradise. We needed this, and loved every moment of our time there. Thank you, Bekker family!!!
