Delightful hotel overlooking Chefchauen

Jasmine hotel is a stunning hotel overlooking Chefchauen. Our room was beautifully traditional, with a great view of the town and a large private patio. The restaurant has wonderful selection and great service and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to return next time we are in the area

They turned our last day in Chefchaouen into something special.

From the moment you arrive at Dar Jasmine, everything feels carefully thought through. Every detail is handled with care, and you notice it right away.
The rooms add something special to the stay.
Each one is named after a city, which creates a different atmosphere depending on where you are. It gives the whole place a unique identity, not just another hotel room.
The team stands out across the entire hotel.
Dining, reception, spa. Everyone delivers at a high level, yet keeps it personal.
The hammam with Hakima was a highlight.
It felt complete, immersive, and done with real expertise. One of those experiences you don’t forget. She is a master!
At reception, Abdel, Farah, and the rest of the team made everything easy.
Always present, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
There’s also a small boutique on site, perfect for last-minute finds before leaving.
The outdoor panoramic pool is another standout, with views that stay with you.
Dinner was just as memorable.
Well executed, relaxed, and the perfect way to close the day. They take care of every single small details. No words!
Yes, there are 156 steps to reach the hotel.
For some, that might feel like a challenge.
But honestly, it’s a very small price to pay for what waits at the top: panoramic views and the best experience you will have.
They turned our last day in Chefchaouen into something special.
That kind of impact stays with you.
Dar Jasmine is now firmly in our top 10.
We will be back soon.

Very nice hotel

Very beautiful hotel with very helpful staff.
The rooms are correct (at least ours) even tho the view is not as clear as “promised” on the booking.
If you want views you need to call the hotel and ask exactly which room has unblock room.
In any case, if you are doubting to get it don’t! It is very nice.
Only negative point ( not for me but might be for you): it is on a hill so many many stairs.

Very nice Dar/Hotel, many steps from street

Be aware - there are more than 100 steps from the street to Dar Jasmine, be sure you can do steps/stairs. The hotel is very nice. The staff was polite and accommodating. The room we had was one flight up and was nice and clean with a balcony. The bed was comfortable. My friends room was quite a few levels higher (more steps to climb). We ate a light lunch (falafel) which was very good. The dinner menu is traditional Moroccan and we wanted something different, so we went to Triana recommended by the hotel which was good.
Dar Jasmine is best for a stay of more than 1 night since it has a lovely pool, nice decks and a very nice view. You can't appreciate the hotel with just 1 night.
One more point to note - the main road up to the hotel is damaged as of June 2026 so you need to walk to and from your vehicle, maybe 10-15 minutes walk. Our driver had to hire a small motorcycle type cart to get our bags to and from the hotel.
Chefchaouen is pretty but most vendors sell made in China souvenirs - so if it will take you a long drive to get to Chefchaouen for just one night - I recommend skipping Chefchaoen. Too long of a drive for a few hours walking around a few streets.

Disappointing the only good thing was the view

It takes forever (45-60 min) to get lunch or diner on the table. They don’t have alcohol (wasn’t mentioned) and you have to climb a 130 steps stairs to get there!!!
