A view worth the hike!

A view worth climbing for! Situated on the edge of budva with a stunning view over the city and bay this hostel provided the perfect place to rest, recharge and socialise with other travellers. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, making sure our stay was comfortable and fun. They provide lots of information about the town, beaches and hiking trails. They also provide camping spots with tents to hire which is great for saving money and if the dorms are full! Overall a rewarding experience, you’ll come to enjoy the hike in the end!

Wasn’t for me, but maybe an anomalie

Now I did arrive very late and was very tired, so take with a Pinch of salt if you like. There’s a possibility I was an absolute princess but here’s my experience.
I ended up cutting my stay short, I was in a big dorm, which I knew when I booked, however it says A/C, I don’t know if it was just off or not working but the room was like satans armpit.
The bathroom I used, was very basic, didn’t look at the others, was majority put off after seeing someone’s soap covered in pubes out on the shower shelf, and clearly the floor hadn’t been mopped in a while. Dry foam insulation visible in between the door frame and the tiles etc.
It’s VERY basic amenities.
I will say it’s secure, as you wouldn’t be able to find the place if you didn’t know where you were going. You have to walk through a strange ?garage type room, with a tower of mattresses that look like it’s still under construction before you find the actual reception to the hostel.
All that said, they did allow me to shorten my stay and only charged me for the one night. And I will admit I didn’t bother telling them about the issues so I don’t know if they would have been rectified quickly or not.
The view is gorgeous, but I’m not sure it was worth the discomfort for me personally.
Definitely use the taxi numbers they give you, that part was very helpful, cost me €4.50 to go up the absolute MAMOTH hill. Make sure you have grippy shoes for going down though as it’s all gravel and I did slip several times and slice up my knee, that ones on me though!

Great location and friendly atmosphere

Great location (it only takes around 10-15 mins to get to the old town). The views from the hostel are amazing and well worth the hill. Vlad (the owner) is knowledgeable about the local area and has lots of recommendations of activities and food. If you are wanting to use a taxi, definitely ask him for a phone number as the street taxis cost far more. The people here are lovely and the place is being cleaned constantly especially during busy hours. The campfires each night are a great way to meet people and admire the view of the beach.

Connect with nature.

Excellent if you enjoy nature, the beautiful views of the city and the beach; there is space to camp for those traveling in their cars, and you can even rent kayaks. I loved the place, and the price was very reasonable.

Super 5+

It's great. Very hospitable, super friendly. Always available for advice or help. Very clean. There's a mangal grill, a fire with nice music in the evening. There's a bar, beer, chips, cigarettes. Great kitchen where you can cook. Good security system, there are cameras everywhere about keeping things safe. Special thanks to the hostel owner, in touch anytime and always ready to help. My grade is super 5+ level not hostel but hotel. Thank you.
