Very clean . Building is old and the feel inside was very comfortable. It felt like being transported back in time .

- Wifi doesnt work in your room
- no compensation or willingness to help after mentioning shower was plugged and no warning that there is no hot water unless requested at the counter and takes half hour after
- took an hour to get my refund

I was given the corner room on the top floor directly above the Pancho Villa Suite. They even let me have a look at the room. My room had two balconies with French doors overlooking the historic centre of Durango. Many famous people have stayed here including John Wayne when he made his movies here. The staff was fabulous and the hotel is like a museum.

Great place to stay. Historic hotel. Beautiful with lots of charm and character. Terraces to view the beautiful downtown area. Elevator with an operator. I’m talking charm. If you like historic places this is the place to stay to enjoy the beauty of downtown Durango.
