Amazing experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carlton Tower Hotel. Our room was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. Ishtaiyaq and Sabre provided exceptional service, always helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel for its superb location. The value for money is excellent and they constantly checked in to ensure our needs were met. It’s also very close to most of the shopping mall, the Kuwait Tower and the Grand Mosque.

Poor manager and bad odour

Poor service and bad odour. The reception and rooms have bad odour from on site restaurant and stale carpets. Manager was rude and lacked customer empathy . Rest of staff were very helpful

Do not stay here

Where do I begin? I booked a large double bed and instead was given two single beds adjoined together. I solely booked this hotel to rest and sleep but they had this idea of allowing a very loud party in their premises and the music was blaring out late hours. I made several complaints and staff reaction was that the Management would take action in the morning. The management even did not bother to respond or offer a simple apology. The only saving grace are some friendly staff but the hotel is disgusting given the price and provided comfort level.

just outside the center, great facility

structure just outside the center, not on the main streets but rather slightly ambushed and easy to reach from the bus stop with the navigator on the phone (not that you can not see but it is semi hidden). fast checkin and room on the 8th floor with views of the sea and the heritage village, the same as the dining room, really beautiful. room with all comforts, zero noise and varied and excellent breakfast, very European taste unlike other facilities. nothing to add except that it remains on the edge of the city and to move you have to do kilometers, for example to visit the towers or the park with the fountain, the kuwait museum is a 15 minute walk (it is not too worth seeing) while traveling along the entire coastal road you get directly to the towers in 50/60 minutes. if it is not too hot, return passing by the liberation tower and the souk is a nice itinerary and in an afternoon you see practically the whole city. to the airport there is the bus that costs 0.5 rial and you take the stop not far away.

Above and beyond what is reasonable

I arrived at the hotel around 8am with some reservations regarding other reviews, and requested an early check-in. The lady at reception was very accommodating that morning and kindly allowed me to check in early. She even offered me breakfast, knowing that I would be leaving later that evening, and arranged a fabulous room for my stay. Her professionalism, patience, kindness, and thoughtful service made my experience truly pleasant. Thank you for the excellent hospitality. From Mr Choudhury
