We had a lovely stay in room 215 in the main building in a newly renovated room with a small balcony with sea and land views. Check in was speedy and having a look around the hotel grounds and taking in the views we ordered a light lunch. The hotel was a little too remote for me and the nearest local shop in Santa Maria is downhill walk to the BIG MARKET for drinks and snacks but quite a steep incline to walk on a hot day
No charge for fridge or safe or AC. The quality of service from all the staff was exceptional and the food at dinner was a real treat, if you wanted a freshly cooked pizza Calabrese etc this can be ordered instead of ordering form the à la carte menu that is displayed each morning. The shuttle bus to the local beach is efficient was to get there and back (no charge) there is also a hotel shuttle to Tropea and this gets booked up fast and cost 10€ per person return, after two hours in Tropea I wanted to return to the hotel but pick up was two hours later so we had a light lunch there
The views from the hotel terraces and first floor terrace are amazing
This really is a family run hotel and the management run the hotel well
I noted that signs appeared around the dining room threatening a 15€ fine if guests are caught removing food from the restaurant and another threat of removing towels from unattended sunbeds. Yes some guests don’t follow the guidance and are out putting towels down at 07.30 in the shaded areas
There are not enough parasols around the pool in my opinion but maybe more are available if you ask
Remember tourist tax is payable
And currently 2€ per person per night

Wonderful vacation
We spent beautiful days at this facility. The environment is very well maintained with a fabulous panoramic location. The staff is very helpful and extremely kind, the food is varied and truly excellent with a choice menu.

High, beautiful, but...
Small hotel with pleasant territory and beautiful views. But...... the rooms in the main hotel building are very small. To the hotel's special features - upon check-out you will be provided with a bill for the use of the refrigerator, which did not cool at all. They'll just show you the photo that you put something in it. It is still worth paying attention to the services and drinks included in the bill. We've also been given beer and water, which we haven't ordered or received. The food during our stay was very poor. This also applies to choice of dishes and quantity. At the same time, it was unpleasant to encounter ill-will towards the guests of the service personnel. Of course, despite all those moments, we had a good rest. Beautiful sea, nature, and in good company, you don't pay attention to the negatives.

Beautiful hotel
I had the pleasure of spending a pleasant 7 night stay at this hotel. The facility is located in a quiet location, in the countryside with a pleasant sea view. The reception was great, the person at the reception was exactly courteous and helpful. The room I stayed in was small but well furnished but above all spotless. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, excellent for a 3 star and well organized beach service.

A Break from Italy for a Couple of Years
I would like to express my disappointment regarding the service experience during my stay. I arrived at your hotel with a friend, hoping for a pleasant and relaxing visit, but instead we encountered an unpleasant situation. On several occasions, we noticed that we were served last, even though other guests at nearby tables had arrived later. This made us feel discriminated against and unwelcome. I sincerely hope this feedback will encourage your team to treat all guests with equal respect and attention – regardless of whether they order alcohol or not.
As for the food, it also left a mixed impression – it’s been a long time since I’ve seen such “creative” portion control combined with such a lack of flavor.
I am not writing this as just an ordinary guest, but as someone with over 20 years of experience in the restaurant business – I am a restaurant director. In all my career, I have never encountered such a disrespectful attitude toward a customer. This behavior left a very unpleasant impression and completely spoiled the overall experience.
I wish that when you travel abroad for your own holidays, you are served with the same level of humiliation that you showed us.
As for the food, it also left a mixed impression – it’s been a long time since I’ve seen such “creative” portion control combined with such a lack of flavor.
I am not writing this as just an ordinary guest, but as someone with over 20 years of experience in the restaurant business – I am a restaurant director. In all my career, I have never encountered such a disrespectful attitude toward a customer. This behavior left a very unpleasant impression and completely spoiled the overall experience.
