Nice Hotel, perfect location, but very small room

My stay took place in May 2026. 1 night
Location and hotel:
Next to the old city wall. Parking for free behind the building. Perfect location
Service:
Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel.
Room:
Very clean to the back. But very small.
Breakfast:
Very good breakfast with a broad selection, very good quality and very nice presentation.

Friendly, comfy and pretty!

I stayed for 6 nights and I have to say the staff were always so polite and welcoming from the front desk to house keeping. The bed and pillows are good quality, the air conditioning was a life saver with the heat outside! Availed of the spa and it was quaint and quiet but very relaxing! A quick 2 minute walk from the pedestrian or main gates into Lucca and you can walk through the town from Porta Elisa to Porta Sant Anna in 25 mins. Will definitely be back! Grazie!!

Staff 100% Customer Focused.
Breakfast good. But not excellent.
They offer it as a 4 star hotel, but it is a regular 3 star hotel for an european standard.
Tiny bathroom and elevador.
Money for value: to expensive. More than 300 euros per day is really too much for this hotel!!!

Great choice near the walls of Lucca.

It was recommended to us as a hotel, and indeed it was a nice experience. Clean and well-equipped superior room (even air conditioning!), excellent breakfast, friendly and attentive staff, paid parking but on-site. The location next to one of the entrances to the walls adds to the advantages of this hotel, which is definitely recommendable.
