purely spacious cozy, the owner is very nice and polite.
Even though we arrived before 21:00, at 23:00, when we had to find a place urgently (we were not checked into another hotel due to lateness), the owner replied and kindly agreed to check us in at midnight. Everything patiently showed, large private bathroom, learned the preferences for breakfast and its time, and about the payment said "oh let's go in the morning" - the first such thing in Italy )

The rooms are big, cozy, VERY clean, old Italian movie style. I've already planned a trip here with my mother for next summer) I recommend it!

Not quite what we expected
Based on the reviews, we had booked 1 night at the B&B Villa Olmo for our trip to Tuscany. However, in retrospect we are somewhat surprised about the very positive reviews.
The B&B is located in a multi-storey apartment building that has certainly seen better times. Our room was very clean, but the furniture made an old, somewhat used impression. The bathroom was opposite, so you always had to cross the hallway. In the room there was only one ceiling fan and it was extremely stuffy and hot.
We had requested a parking space in the courtyard in advance, on arrival we were also told immediately that you could not park on the street. The parking space was charged separately with Euro 15.
Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning on time. Unfortunately, the quality was more like supermarket goods that had been taken out of the plastic packaging before.
For transit this B&B is certainly sufficient if it had not been for the room rate of Euro 195. We found it very excessive - despite Lake Como and the proximity to the lake promenade.

Excellent B&B
The B&B Villa Olmo is in an excellent location, very quiet, very kind and attentive host, excellent breakfast and clean room. If I had to return to Como, I would definitely book this B&B again, it deserves a 5⭐️!!

A very nice place to stay in Como. The owner, Marcello is there for you if you’re in need of anything! The room was clean, bed very comfortable, private bathroom and a small terrace. Amazing breakfast served, whenever you like. Great place all in all.

Good value
On the positive sides we were greeted by a very pleasant lady who welcomed us to the B&B. The room was a good size and very clean, in a nice part of Como not far from Villa Olmo, and we had a good one night stay there. On the downside, it was an extremely hot spell, and the ceiling fan in the room didn’t really cool it down. The bathroom, for our use only, was across the hall and so not fully private. Also we had not realised that we were required to pay for our accommodation in cash (it may have been in the small print). Overall if your ok with these things I would recommend it as a good value place to stay in what is such an expensive part of Italy
