Impromptu Dublin Visit

We booked this hotel and short notice as our visit was a little impromptu. It’s ideally placed to explore Dublin with all of the main sights in easy reach. We weren’t disappointed as it was really lovely.
On arrival our first impression was with kitty who was extremely friendly and helpful when booking us in. We met kitty again the second night and I can say she is a credit to the hotel as were all of the staff we met during our two night stay.
The room was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. It’s a modern minimalist design with a shower/toilet cubicle and the sink is in the room so no bathroom as such. Everything else is as expected, wardrobe with safe, good sized tv etc. no tea and coffee facilities in the room but there is a galley on each floor so you can help yourself there.
We didn’t have breakfast but did use the bar area which has a really good vibe with a modern vibrant clean feel and lots of comfortable seating. The bar staff were excellent and helped us choose some stunning cocktails.

Hey Sunshine,
Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback.
We’re glad your spontaneous trip worked out and that Ruby Molly gave you an easy base for exploring Dublin. Hearing that your check-in felt warm and relaxed makes our day, and Kitty will be thrilled you remembered her. The rest of the team will be smiling too.
It’s also great to know your room felt fresh and well set up. Our design brings the shower and loo into the main space to make the most of the room, with frosted glass for privacy and a curtain you can pull across if you’d like a bit more separation. As part of our Lean Luxury philosophy, we keep things streamlined in the room and offer complimentary tea and hot water from the Galley on each floor, so you can grab what you need any time without the clutter of a kettle.
We’re also happy the bar hit the right note. A lively feel, comfy corners, and a well-made cocktail are exactly what we aim for, and our bartenders will love your shout-out.
We’d love to welcome you back to Ruby Molly whenever you’re next in town.
Your Ruby Molly Team

The rooms are tight, but it’s a modern efficient space. The beds are extra long. The breakfast is awesome!!!

Nice new hotel, style over substance. The staff are friendly and coctails in the bar area were 10/10.
The room was nice and clean. Not a fan of the guitar amps/speakers, i would rather have a coffee dock. The”galley kitchen” on each floor is a small room with a boiling tap and sachets of coffee and tea and uht milk. The surrounding area is a bit rough and i would not want to be walking sround at night.i would not choose to stay here again. Feel safer in other parts of Dublin centre.

Hotel is very well located to walk to everything but not so close that you are disturbed by noise. I wasn’t keen with the style on the shower which is open to the room with a curtain to close it off. Bed was very comfortable.
Do not stay in the recommended car park at Jervis Street on a Saturday night especially if you need to catch a flight or ferry in the morning. Staff did not turn up to open the car park at 8am and we had to pay an outside company €50 to release our car at 8.30 or we would’ve missed our ferry.

Aspiring hip little hotel on the north side of the Liffey. Big rooms. Comfy beds. Spacious lobby and hang area for cocktails and meet ups. Sometimes a little too cool for school - check out a guitar and plug it into your own amp! (mmhmm) and "check yourself in" - oh, but here's a fella to check your ID (thus, LONG check in lines) and a lot of folks down for the breakfast which made it a little too chaotic for me. If you forgo the housekeeping, you get two free drink tickets. ;) Careful around the area a bit at night - can get a little dodgy.

Very good location
