This was by far MY WORST EXPERIENCE in a hotel/hostel
This was by far MY WORST EXPERIENCE with Airbnb (actually with the hospitality sector in general).
Started with checkin, where the staff had a bunch of friends around continuously making jokes clearly directed to us in the local language.
Once we’ve got to the room, surprise - no double bed - they gave us a twin room saying it was the only room available, even though we told the host it was a honeymoon trip.
The staff gave us the key and quickly left, and that’s where the story got worse. The room was filthy, an absolute nightmare. There was hair everywhere on the floor, thick layers of spider webs in every corner of the room, the bathroom was soaked (like someone just took a shower on it), broken toilet seat, tap and shower head completely rusty, HOLES AND STAINS all over the bedsheets and pillow cases, bad smell on the pillows, and the towels looked like someone used to mop the floor.
We went to the lobby to change our reservation, the staff that was already rude before got even more energetic and said that they couldn’t do it because they are not responsible for the listing on Airbnb - the listing was made by an Agency and they don’t have even a contact number to speak directly with them. (AGENCIES WILL KILL THE AIRBNB EXPERIENCE IF THEY DONT DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT)
In the end we’ve had to contact the Airbnb customer service, send the pictures to them and explain in detail our case before they agreed in change our checkout date to the next morning.
The whole thing cost us an entire night looking for a new place to stay in Kuta in a dump room (we’ve had to pay for) that we couldn’t leave even to have dinner because we were afraid of the staff since they were yelling at us and making fun of the situation.
To finish the story with a gran finale, the host (Agency) contacted by message and called us liars, which we replied with a bunch of pictures and details about what was happening. He apologised in the end - going against images is quite hard - which doesn’t make any difference, his response just showed his profile as a dishonest host and disrespectful person.

Not the best
Pros:
Near the main street
Has a pool
Not too expensive
Provides breakfast
Cons:
No hot water in the shower
No AC
Beds are old and uncomfortable
Only cooling solution is a fan (Not a good fan at that)
Counter staff wasn't very helpful when I told him I lost my wallet, didn't give any useful information, didn't even give any ways to contact authorities.
It's only okay if you plan to stay for one or two days.

Unhappy at end of stay
The facilities here are nice and the rooms have a modern look. The location is ok with a few food places. The stay was ok until night 2 when i discovered the black pillows. They are very old and moldy. The breakfast was ok but every time i had either an unclean cup or cutlery. I was very upset after getting my laundry back. My top was completely destroyed and the owner tried to tell me it was already like that. The spaghetti strap had been ripped some how and is not able to be worn. If my top was like that i wouldn't be paying to get it washed.

Not great
We stayed only 1 night there. The bed sheets were stained, there was no hot water and the breakfast was very basic. It is centrally located in Kuta however if you are looking for a cheap 1 night stop.

Cheap place
We stayed 2 nights. Place was cheap to stay. No warm water and no ac. There was only one plug in the rooms!! Little bit problems with wifi.
