Very good stay in the forest with a nice view!

Very good choice overall. We came to this, after carefully studying the comments of different visitors. Good value for money for the "Adonis" room we were given.
Very good breakfast for the price of the stay, traditional and non-traditional products, we would like natural juice in the morning and in abundance! Very good quality honey, trachan soup, fasting foods and mostly not good quality foods, hot eggs. In general the breakfast seemed to respect the customer. So is the serving area, spotlessly clean and warm and, most importantly, free of domestic animals, just as the rules stipulate and enforce!
The living room of the business very welcoming and warm, the cast iron fireplace was burning and giving. Small but with honest but very simple products, the kitchen of the accommodation, a few dishes but fresh and quite handmade, mainly the salads. However, the prices for all the ordered products are increased, the service from the staff, however, with a smile, we would immediately like less distancing from the owner of the business and more warmth from him!
The taste of the coffees is the only negative, very light and without intensity. Every type of coffee was included in the price of breakfast, there were also generous discounts on the entire stay.
Regarding the room insist on opening and airing it before your arrival, while the central heating was extremely efficient and the relatively comfortable room was always warm. There was also a small but comfortable kitchen and a refrigerator. Lots and lots of hot water, high drinking water pressure. However, in order for each room to suit your tastes, we recommend that you talk to the owner by phone about availability, so you can choose the one that suits you!
The room was cleaned and delivered on the second day of our stay to an excellent standard and to a better standard than when we arrived.
The local people are low-key, quiet and detached, besides, we loathe loud "foreigners", in general it is good to respect the moments and not to feel and behave, especially the townspeople, as if we own the space wherever and whenever we are.....
In summary, we support the business and recommend its visit as it is a small traditional gem in the Greek nature!

Moderate shame

The view is amazing. The room for his money is relatively good. But also the owner is rude. He divides his guests into two categories one that serves them kindly and another category where it is said as kindly as I snob. Even the breakfast that is not a buffet but he brings it to the table is two categories depending on how he cuts you his > eye/

We returned after 13 years

First time we visited Merses was back in 2005 and we returned now to spend the weekend at the same room “Anatoli” as before.
Hotel has spacious rooms and great view!!! It is at a very quite spot and apart of the clock bell of the nearby church nothing will disturb you during your stay.
Breakfast is decent and staff is friendly.
Fireplace is working properly and there is sufficient wood supplied by the Management.
It is a value for money hotel. Will come back for sure!!!

One of the greatest views

Merses Studios, situated near the end of Paleo Mikro Chrorio, offers an astonishing view of the valley and the mountains! We stayed at Eros Suite, a very big room (55 sq.m)! The room could have a better arrangement as the TV is far away from the bed! Moreover, the sofa is situated under the tv and therefore it is not of amy use! The room was very cozy and very warm (we slept without a blanket) and the jaccuzzi just great! There is warm water always and the room was very clean! The breakfast is not served in the room but in the restaurant and it has more than the basics! I recommend Studio Merses!!

Great and peaceful place to stay

We stayed at the "Anatoli" Suite. The view was perfect! Very spacious room with all comforts, except for the bed. It needs to be replaced. The breakfast was great with fresh products and you can opt for whatever kind of coffee you like.
The location is perfect for visiting all the villages around such as Neo Mikro Horio, Megalo Horio, Gavros, Korishades and Prousos. We will come back definitely!
