Beautiful studio with the View

First of all I just wanted to say there is the Rania studio’s and attached to it is the Rania Bella Vista studios. You will see the difference in the price. We stayed in the Rania studios which to us are more Greek and authentic which we prefer. Manolis the owner picked us up from the Ferry port. When you get off the ferry Manolis will be parked to the left next to the taxis waiting to pick you up. On the way to the studios Manolis first took us to the supermarket so we could get some supplies. Depending on how long you are staying make sure you get enough waters so you can put them in the car. When we went into the studios they were amazing very Greek and very clean. When Manolis opened the patio door the view was truly incredible overlooking Askeli and Kaneli bay and the football field and Poros town in the background. But to achieve these views the studios are high up and there are a lot of stairs to climb unless you hire a car or moped. From the main road below the studios there is 3 different sets of stairs you can use to get up to the Rania studios. The 1st set of stairs below the Rania are very steep and the hardest to climb but if you walk about 150 metres towards Askeli bay just before the Golden View hotel is the 2nd set of stairs and these are a bit easier then another 100 metres past the Golden View hotel is the 3rd set of stairs and these are the easiest but when you get to the top the road towards the studios is uphill. Don’t let the stairs put you off because after a few goes they get easier. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk into Poros town from the Rania studios. There is a free bus that goes along the harbour front then turns left and goes behind Poros town and finishes at stop 8 facing the Naval Academy. There are 8 stops for the bus mainly along the harbour front. The bus runs on a continuous loop every 20 minutes starting on the hour then 20 past then 20 to the hour. The last stop number 8 is facing the Naval Academy the bus then turns left towards poros harbour. The first stop is next to the car park where the Ferry from Galatas arrives.
From Rania studios go down the 1st set of stairs and at the bottom turn right and after about 150 metres on the left is a path that takes you to Kaneli Beach. There are 2 sets of sunbeds and it is 10 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella. We used Captains sunbeds all the time but also there is Kaneli beach sunbeds. We can highly recommended the Rania studios we had a fantastic time and Manolis the owner was very kind and friendly.

The rania studios is a beautiful little Cycladic neighborhood as made by Mr. Manolis. The view is magnificent, you can see the sea from everywhere and the port of the reservoir. The double room very spacious, in quite good condition. Mr. Manolis is above all a man, very helpful and does not look at you in money. The prices of accommodation from the best of the city!!!! The only downside is the road that leads you to the rania because it is narrow and the other accommodations until you arrive do not have parking and park on the narrow road with hills. This had to be taken care of by the resource municipality.

Terrible view and a wonderful balcony flat painting
The rooms and amenities are good The bathroom ancient with non-mixing taps for water waste.
If the bathrooms are fixed, we'll talk about a good case.
End access troublesome with and without a car.
But the view is worth it

Value of money

One of the best places for your stay in Poros. It’s 1.3 klm from the city center of Poros and near the beaches. The studios are comfortable with a small kitchenette and bathroom.Very clean and with an amazing view from the balcony. The owner mrs Athena is very kind and helpful.

Awesome view and good price

I had the best experience in Rania's rooms. All the place was very clean and well decorated. Nice flowers out of the rooms. The rooms had everything one needs a/c, equipped kitchenette, new tv, hairdryer even moschito devices. But the best thing about the hotel was the panoramic view! You couldn't get enough of this balcony! Located between the port and Asceli beach,it has an easy and quick access to both of them. There was some stairs to go down to the street and back up. Also the place is super quiet because its at the end of a street. The owner of the place was super kind and helpful. He also let me use the room for much longer after the check out. The price is exceptionally good for all that the place offers. It was exactly what I needed. I would definitely go again and I certainly recommend it
