Really on the sea
Let's see if I can put together all the positive things we found: the owner Kostas contacted us while we were still on the ferry and offered to pick us up from the port (which he did) and on the way back he drove us back, the structure is beautiful, in white and blue typical of Greece, the clean rooms, nicely furnished with a nice balcony with chairs and tables overlooking the sea, it is 30 seconds from the beach which is pebble but with a wonderful sea, the market behind stocked with beers and cold drinks at a good price, a bar where to buy food and two restaurants (one owned by the Kostas family) that often come alive with Greek music. We fell in love with Alonissos also thanks to this place.... maybe one day we will return to visit the beaches we have not seen and in case we will definitely come back here!

BEACH, VFM, very clear
Great. Not only close, even more, the studio is by the beach of Rousoum Gialos, a picturesque beach with clear blue water. A small market is very close and there are also 2 tavernas by the sea, the one very good and run by the same proprietor of the studios. Comfortable and very clear studio with wonderful view from our veranda (2nd floor without a lift). We were there with our little dog and we really enjoyed our stay for 7 days. VFM, highly recommended.

Great amenities and perfect location
The first thing to say about this place is, if you have a lot of luggage, book a taxi. The rank is pretty close to the ferry port, and presumably you can order in advance. Nikos (the owner's brother who ran a nearby taverna) kindly ordered a cab for our journey back to the port. It cost under 10 euros, which was well worth it!
But transfers aside, this place was excellent. The 1 minute downhill stroll to the quaint Rousoum beach with its smattering of tavernas was fabulous. Our balcony had views of the sea and also the rural inland.
Our studios comprised a bedroom, bathroom, but also a living area complete with two sofas and a kitchenette. You could tell that they had really thought about the amenities as well, including iron and ironing board, as well as a bin with a recycling section (both very rare in our experience of Greek accommodation, but very welcome).
We are definitely planning to stay here again when we come back to Alonissos.

Wonderful island hospitality!
If there is one thing I regret about our stay in Mahi Studios is not staying longer! The studios were spotless clean, large enough to accommodate a family of 3 and had great views. The studios are located next to Roussoum beach, in my opinion the best most relaxing beach in Alonissos. We preferred to swim in Roussoum for the entire 3 days we stayed on the island as we found it less crowded. The owners of Mahi studios also run a restaurant on Roussoum, the food of which is delicious (try the traditional cheese pie!). The owners, two brothers, have been very hospitable to us picking us up and taking us back to the port. We'll be visiting again for sure, next time for at least a week!

Great place and exquisite hospitality
You can step out of the room in your swimming suite and take a bath in the pristine water of the Roussoum Bay. You can walk to Patitiri in 20 minutes, and if you get a motorbike you have all the most beautiful Alonissos beaches handy, including those of the wild side of the island. Kostas, Nikos, and all their family are always there to help, assist and make your stay the best. Their parents are in the restaurant their family runs on the beach, 20 meters from the studios, and it's a real traditional Greek family kitchen experience you can't miss.
