Ideal base for solo traveller
15 yrs ago I travelled with an ex and stayed at a lovely hotel much further out past Krioneri Piso to get a pool but found the trek too much in the heat of the day or after a few drinks.
Astra is perfectly situated between Valtos & the harbour. The route up the steps via the castle is very steep but there are flatter options. It was fun to try a different routes so saw a lot more of the town on this trip.
The room had everything I needed as a solo female but would’ve run out of drawer/hanging space for a couple.
The owners were helpful. I had a pleasant view over the town and mountains.
I have already rebooked.

A perfect place in Parga
Very comfortable and well-equipped studio apartment, perfect for couples or travelling alone. Very friendly and helpful hosts with regular apartment cleaning, towel and bed linen change. Brand new bathroom with rain shower and hand held shower with shower holder. Gorgeous mountain views of Parga and surrounding area from the balcony. Highly recommended and great value for money. Easy 5 minute walk into Parga old town and harbour for water taxis and boat cruises.
