A great place to stay

Excellent place with a friendly and very helpful host. The kitchen is clean, well-equipped, and there’s plenty of space throughout the hostel. I especially enjoyed the pool. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The only thing I missed was a bit more social atmosphere, but it’s still early in the season. Matala is a lovely location, and this hostel offers great value, especially when booking on their website.

Staff and guests were incredible and hospitable, made the experience one of my favourites at any stay!!! And the pool was lovely

excellent hostel friendly staff

excellent hostel, friendly people run by young people, they organise evenings such as eating out or pub crawls, etc. you can get a private room with a double bed and nice AC, there is a mini fridge, and right next to the bus stop if you are coming from heraklion bus station, you will have to change buses halfway through however

Dirty room

I am fine that a Hostel is not has all the amenities that a hotel has, but I expect cleaning, ants on the beds, as well as hair, dust and strange stains, dirt in the closet, barely clean bathroom with the sink full of stains that I removed, non-adjustable air conditioner and it was freezing in the room....
