Hidden Gem

Cozy, hidden, quiet paradise with a taste from the good past. Covers all basic needs. Relatively close to the beach. Key advantages: Fantastic restaurant in a magical, tree-covered yard with very reasonable prizes. Very friendly and helpful, caring owners. We'll visit again.

Beautiful people and location!

I stayed in Trifilli as part of a yoga retreat and I absolutely loved it. Susan and her family are lovely hosts and they made us feel at home right away. I stayed in one of the studios and it was peaceful, quiet and very clean. The beach is a 10-15min walk depending if you are going down or up the hill : ) Overall, it's just a fantastic place and lovely food!

Lovely place!

We stayed at Trifilli for a week, after recommandations from my mother who stayed here last year, and loved it. Trifilli is genuin Greek, with beautiful colours, flowers, and homemade food. The host, Susan, is a wonderful woman who takes care of everyone and everything. If you look for a simple, genuin, clean and nice place to stay, we would strongly recommand Trifilli for your stay in Lourdata!

Old fashioned greek Charm with Swiss finesse

Trifilli came highly recommended by Austrian guests that had stayed with me at my bed and breakfast in the UK!……..and I was so glad they had!
My first long holiday after brining up my son alone and running a small business…it was long overdue. I went solo and really never felt alone at all!…Suzanna is a great host..always on hand but not overbearing…a hard balance.
The small hotel is all you imagine Greece to be…simple furnishings, very clean, and well maintained( i think thats the swiss bit!) I had a gorgeous room with balcony overlooking the sea with views to Zante..an orange tree in arms reach! A very small walk to the beach at the bottom which never gets too crowded…set in Lourdata
Breakfast is good with Greek yoghurt, honey, fruit and good bread and lots of coffee… you can order eggs and extra things but i felt this was enough!
The Taverna is under lovely vines and vegetation and after eating in a few of the other places on the seafront I more than not ate here……..it was where i felt most comfortab;e, looked after and with the best food…often grown from their own garden and with seasonal and daily specials…..I ate a lot of vegetarian choices here and Im not vegetarian….all were excellent. The house wine is also great value and very drinkable!
