Amazing place to stay.
We have just returned from a 2 week stay here and it was great. This is my 6th visit to paleo and the best apartment I have stayed in by far. Me, my husband and 2 children were met by Magdalena (who is lovely, friendly and helpful) who let us in to our apartment even though it was before check in so we could leave our luggage and get changed. She then returned later to finish setting it up for us and also bought treats for my children (more than one during our stay) and the grown ups too! The towels, bedding and bins were changed more often then anywhere else we have stayed before and the facilities were great. When one of our friends had an issue with their booking elsewhere we spoke to her about him possibly needing use our spare bed for a few nights in the first week and she was more than happy to help and asked if we needed extra bedding, it turns out it he didn't need to stay but she still checked in a few days to make sure. Smashing view from the balcony and right near a bus stop and the shop. The lack of pool is not a problem as there are loads around that you can use anyway. Will definetly stay here again.

Very good value and excellent host
This accommodation offers excellent value and very clean. I have returned here after my first visit from last year. I found this to be a very cost effective option and found everything that we needed during our say here from iron, hair dryer to all cooking facilities you would require for a family of two adults and three kids. We chose to eat in 50% of our stay and found the experience to be excellent eating our evening meals on the balcony.
Magda the host brought us some child medicine as we were unsure of where to source an alternative to the British brand of Calpol.
It is very reasuring to know that Magda is here to help us if ever we have any need or require some local knowledge.
I saw a previous review criticising the mosquito's which to be honest you will find anywhere in Corfu. I think you will find it hared to find better accommodation at the same price anywhere else in Paleokastritsa and expect to be returning back to Paleo Palace for many years to come. I just wish I found Magda and Paleo Palace sooner as we have been visiting the area since 2013.
There are a few pools near by to enjoy free of charge (we chose Mermaid pool bar) other nera by places to look at include Cactus bar open late with nice music and bar snacks available late, Spiros taverna which offer good grill and meat ln the spit with a great family atmosphere and again fantastic hosts. The stunning La grota is just opposite Paleo Palace and is a gem of a place to visit.
The beach is a nice walk down hill but if you dont fancy the 15 minute walk La Grota has steps down to a private swimming area which also offers boat taxi to main beaches. Additional Agia triada beach is very near by with access at the side of Akrotiri beach hotel which is very close to Paleo Palace. Magda has a relative who runs a small supermarket under the next to the accomidation and the is open early to late selling most items e.g. fruit and veg, dairy, sun cream, swimming accessories and alcohol etc.
This accommodation also offer parking (exclusive to the guests) adjacent to the premises which many competitor do not offer
Paleo Palace has amazing sea views and sitting out relaxing with or without a meal is an absolute luxury.

Not recommended.
Our appartment was a very average (you might also say below average) sort of place, rather small and in poor repair; we would not have stayed there if we had seen it beforehand (we booked via the internet). We find the other positive reviews quite inexplicable. One additional - and for us very irritating - problem was caused by mosquitoes. We had to close all outside doors/windows of the appartment at the latest by 16:00 every afternoon otherwise we were plagued by mosquitoes at night.

Best apartments and studios in Paleokastritsa!
Stayed here for the month of October... booked a one bedroom studio but were upgraded to a slightly larger 2 bedroom studio as we were there for longer than usual at a quiet time of year. Facilities great and everywhere was spotlessly clean... both Paleo Palace and the next door Kiki apartments are owned and managed by the different members of the same family and all the apartments and the lovely terrace to the front with the fabulous sea views and beautiful olive grove garden up the hill at the back are well cared for. We were impressed at how often the sheets and towels were changed. Magdalena who owns and looks after Paleo Palace is absolutely lovely, so welcoming kind, nothing is too much trouble and she speaks excellent English. Magdalena and her cousin take great pride in their properties and look after it so well. We noticed each set of guests are welcomed and treated in the same friendly manner whether they are staying for a couple of nights or a week or more and we highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the Paleokastritsa area of Corfu.

Definitely one of the best places in Paleokastrsita! In some words: nice panorama, friedly and helpful stuff, well equipped studio flats in the middle of the village. I want to go back once, I will miss those people, cuisin and nature.
