Best host in Emporios

Mrs Themelina is the best host. Always smiling, does her best for her guests. The rooms are spacious and clean. I stay in room number 3 which hss amazing view of the sea. The place is quiet and one can relax. Highly recommended.

booking cancelled 3 days before arrival, fraud

booking cancelled 3 days before our arrival (because of an offer of a tourism agency that he could not refuse !)
in fact the guy is selling its rooms to the most interesting offer, and you can/will be the victim of its room management
and it was done through a missed call I noticed on my mobile phone and we called back to know what it was about, they did not even leave a message because it was too expansive on my French phone number
the guy said he would help us find something else, we never got any news
he also said "harry's paradise" (another studio/room in the same area) was full, and, surprise, we called them ourself and we found a room !
it is unbelievable to deal with such people, they take tourists for products and give no respect to people; very bad image for Kalymnos and Emporio

Good walks

We stayed here for a few days in May 2017
I's a nice place with a friendly family,The owners Mother is very kind and hospitable. It is a quiet village with 2 buses a day.
We would certainly stay here again.

Fabulous

Themelina's are fantastic apartments!!! Run by a warm welcoming family!
A short gentle stroll down to the nearest beach of many with a selection of tavernas serving delicious food.
Highly recommended for a relaxing quite break.

Quiet and hospitable = perfect

"Xenia" is a concept important to the ancient Greeks which involved showing hospitality to strangers. It seems to be alive and well on Kalymnos. Our stay here was perfect. This is a quiet village it was a delight to come home to at night after a day's climbing and we had views of the sea from our terrace, strong WiFi signal, comfy beds and our excellent host Madame Themelina and her family making us feel welcome. A wonderfully relaxing holiday!
