Manager Nikolaos was amazing. Attentive to detail and willing to share ideas plus recommendations! Though the hotel may seem dated, the location and basic necessities are all there especially if you want to acclimate to the area prior to adventuring further on the beautiful island of Chios. The hotel I believe is family owned therefore you will most likely have a cozy and warm stay.

Quiet hotel, everything you need for a family

Very polite staff, all ready to serve you with a smile and good mood, the rooms are always clean as they clean it every day, and good price. All you need for the average family with children who want to enjoy their holidays.

The Morning Star Hotel was a warm, comfortable, delightful experience. The owners were incredibly inviting with home cooked breakfast and knowledgeable destination recommendations. Loved the quiet pool area and location! Chios is spectacular.

Happy to stay again!

A family owned hotel, friendly and polite stuff makes your stay run smoothly. I booked a room last minute around midnight after leaving another apartment with terrible beds. The receptionist was very helpful and quickly checked me in the room. The location is great as it is just outside the noisy town of Chios and there are two buses that operate nearby, the one just outside the hotel. I would gladly stay again if I visit Chios again.

A very good hotel

We were in desperate need of 3 rooms, midnight in a cold and rainy night in february. The hotel management responded on time and in a few minutes we had our rooms prepared, and the clima was already working so that the rooms be warm before our arrival. Great hospitality, wonderful and kind people (family run hotel), and a very good fresh home made breakfast.
Surely recommended.
