Lovely, quaint hotel

Sitting out of town this hotel is a very traditional Saxon offering. It has a lovely setting by a stream and has all you need onsite. The staff are helpful and the food is delicious!

Herzlicher Empfang, leckeres Essen, sauberes geräumiges Zimmer

Immer ein herzlicher Empfang, dazu leckeres Essen und ein geräumiges sauberes Zimmer. Die Speisekarte hat sowohl saisonale als auch gutbürgerliche Speisen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch wunderbar auf der Terrasse sitzen und ein Bierchen trinken.

Sehr lange Wartezeit und wenig Auswahl.

Wir waren Ostern 2019 am Karfreitag im Waldfrieden zum Mittagessen. Sehr enttäuschend, Osterkarte mit wenig Auswahl ohne vegetarische Alternative, Wartezeit auf das Essen nach Bestellung mehr als 60 Minuten, obwohl nicht alle Tische besetzt waren. Zumindest ein Teil der Speisen war wohl in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt.
Eher keine Wiederholung.

einfach nur prima

Sehr guter Aufenthalt in schöner Umgebung und gemütlichen Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da die Speisen sehr lecker waren, finden wir das es seinen Preis auf jeden Fall wert ist.

zu teuer

Essen in Gesellschaft, vorbestellt. Suppe und Hauptgang, verschiedenes Fleisch, Gemüse, Kartoffeln, Klöße. Das Essen hat überwiegend geschmeckt, bis auf die dünnen Scheiben von der Zunge, die waren "geschmacklos". Ohne Getränke 25,00 € pro Person, das ist heftig! Dafür war es bei weitem nicht gut genug.
