I think it's nice in the Godewind...

Hotel room very good. Breakfast excellent. Location great. Restaurant very nice ambience and the food is good for the price.

Feeling completely comfortable

Very nice hotel. Super delicious breakfast with homemade salads, fresh fruit and anything your heart desires.
Our room was modern, the beds very comfortable.
Dinner was delicious with very generous portions, but also quite expensive.
Short walk to the beach.
Over Christmas absolutely quiet and relaxed on the island.
We felt completely comfortable

Room furnishings are a bit old.
Bath more of a wet room. Shower lock was broken.
Beds were very good.
Breakfast buffet was extensive and good quality.
Accommodation price was reasonable.
Hotel is about 700 from the ferry pier

Nice here! :-)

We have a spacious room in the attic. The breakfast is good and the dinner is also very good. It is advisable to make a reservation as the restaurant is often fully booked. Apparently there are a lot of regular guests, which somehow contradicts the negative reviews. However, one thing to complain about is the very weak and unstable WiFi in the attic rooms. The router ends at foot height at the staircase. The problem could be easily fixed.

Beautiful island, so-so accommodation

The room was OK, but the alternative room: The first holiday apartment we rejected was dark, not very stylish and next to a construction site. The cleanliness was OK. There was no kettle or coffee-making facilities in the room.
The friendliness and warmth of the staff, however, left a lot to be desired. No questions about satisfaction when leaving, probably misinterpreted as "North German charm".
We didn't try the restaurant, the breakfast was only "solid": apart from a few slices of cucumber, there was no fresh vegetables and no fresh (smoked) fish, which you would expect on a beautiful island like this. No sweet pastries either. I'm not really interested in spicy salads like those on the buffet here in the morning. There was also no nice, bright lounge.
All in all, the accommodation was clearly overpriced. I won't be visiting again.
