Beautiful hotel with amazing service

Bernhard’s is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, and the restaurant is fantastic. We stayed in the Seebacher Haus, which is right across the street from the main building. If I am ever lucky enough to come back to Oberaudorf, I will for sure be staying here again!!

A friendly hotel

Stayed six days in Bernhard's Hotel in the beautiful town of Oberaudorf.
The rooms were clean and relatively large with all standard amenities. One suggestion: A coffee and tea making facilities would make all the difference.
The breakfast is standard but the choice is varied.
We were impressed with the hospitality of the staff who were ready to go out of their way to satisfy the guests. They even picked us up from the train station and helped us with our luggage. Thank you Rebecca.

Nice spot for a day as well as-possibly-for a holiday

We stayed there for only one night while on our way elsewhere. Got there at night and finding the Hotel proved to be a bit difficult even with google maps. In daytime should be fine though. The Hotel is situated in a lovely little Bavarian village/ski resort-have a little walk around it if you have time. It is an old building with a modern extension cleverly hidden behind, so that you can’t notice it at a glance. Rooms are surprisingly spacious, airy and warm. Our was looking out to the South and the mountains beyond the car park. Beds were very comfy and we slept well. Breakfast was a continental variety but there was plenty to chose from and the food was fresh and tasty. Staff speak English. Solid German quality. 100Euro for a mere B&B was perhaps a bit on the high side though.

Just average meal

I have been to Bernhard’s Restaurant for a few times and I always enjoyed my meals however the last visit was a bit dissapinted.I ordered a typical Swiss dish,Zuercher Gschnetzelts with Roesti,as Berhard is Swiss.
The dish was not what I expected,the veal was quite though and the sauce was very salty and tasted from taste enhancer (MSG),on the other hand the Roesti where cooked to perfection.
My wife’s meal,Tagliatelle Asian style was excellent and very tasty.
The service was friendly and efficient.
I will return one more!

Great food

Michelin star quality to normal prices with a Swiss touch has been a feature of this restaurant for some time
Like in the olden days the chef walks round the table and makes sure his customers leave happy and sated and I am sure they will
Traditional Swiss dishes with some more modern alpine/Mediterranean aspects is the focus of the well presented menu
Impeccable service is guaranteed as well as a good wine list

Tonka bean creme’ brulee’ 8/10
