We could not find the check-in desk at first because there are 2 buildings, with supposedly 2 check-in desks, but that is not correct. We had to check into the new building next door. Coincidentally we could park for free between the 2 buildings. Otherwise we would have had to park in the nearest parking garage for 10 eu. The welcome was short but friendly. We didn't have to show anything ID-wise. The hotel is in the center opposite station. Convenient, but some noisemakers at night outside. The hotel is standard, fine beds. We were in the old part. The room was clean and tidy.

Great location, but the hotel used to allow smoking, and it still smells of cigarettes. Fortunately, the LOOKEN hotel next door is managed by the same staff, and they upgraded us to a much better room (for an additional cost).

No attic rooms

The rooms under the roof facing the street - without air conditioning - are not three star - small windows, therefore rooms with little light, bathroom without windows, warm and noisy. Be sure to look to get to floors below.
Reception and breakfast are at the adjacent Looken Inn. I took a room there at extra cost. Evening reception with no sense of service and customer focus- “couldn’t offer me another room” . Electric charging stations permanently parked in hotel car parks by incinerators. No movement at reception. Morning ladies friendly. Breakfast at the Locken Inn great!!
