Pleasant hotel amidst of nature

“Landhaus Klosterwald” is one beautiful hotel situated on the road which connects Lich and Arnsburg monastery. It is very close to Lich (only 4 km.) and on short distance from the Goethe’s city – Wetzlar (28 km.). The hotel is in midst of the nature and near to the romantic wood. It has private park with many kinds of herbivorous animals and poultry. The hotel offers to the guests, wide and comfortable rooms which are well furnished and very clean. All the atmosphere in the hotel suggests the feeling of the calmness and domestic comfort. About dinner the restaurant offers typical dishes of the German cuisine and local wines with high quality. The breakfast is rich and tasteful with big variety of cheeses, meats, vegetables and sweets.
The hotel could be a good starting point for one-day trip with visit of famous Dome of Limburg, Weilburg Castle, Braunfels Castle and Altenberg Monastery (in west direction) or to city of Marburg (in the north).

Gutes Essen in gemütlicher Athmosphäre

Im Rahmen einer Familienfeier haben wir im Landgasthof Klosterwald gegessen. Die Speisenauswahl ist sehr vielfältig und somit ist für jeden Geschmack etwas Leckers dabei. Egal ob Fisch, Fleisch , Wild oder Vegetarisches. Es war einfach lecker und wurde sehr schön angerichtet. Vor allem auch der Nachtisch war spitze. Die Bedienungen waren sehr nett und äußerst hilfsbereit. Eine wirklich gute Adresse und wir waren trotz langer Anfahrt sicherlich nicht das letzte mal hier.

Gutbürgerliches Hotel

Das Hotel ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, und Renovierungsbedürftig. Ist aber sauber und für den Preis okay. Erholungszeit ist sehr, da die Lage am Waldrand sehr ruhig ist. Hervorzuheben ist das Essen, schmeckt super zu einen fairen Preis. Vor allem die Nachspeise, hier zu empfehlen ist das frittierte Eis.
Betten sind gut, Bad ausreichend groß aber 70er Jahre Charme. Geschäftlich immer wieder gerne.
