Winter magic at Das Kranzbach
Winter magic at Hotel Kranzbach, we really enjoyed the relaxing days at the hotel. The breakfast was phenomenal. With a large selection of cheeses, different types of bread, fruit, and fresh juices. The view of the mountains and the forests is a dream. The staff were very friendly and attentive.. the dinner was very balanced and tasty. We had a very nice, cozy, and modern room in the garden wing. I would like to especially praise the cleaning of the rooms; it was very thorough and very clean. Yoga in the Meditation House was wonderful. The reception upon our arrival was very friendly.
The various fences with a view of the mountains and into the forest are very relaxing.
I have two suggestions for the hotel: the relaxation room for the ladies is very nice, also with the view of the treetops and the mountains. But the atmosphere is missing a bit here, especially when you want to rest
and the door constantly opens and closes and shuts again with a loud clatter. The second suggestion would perhaps be to create a relaxed, cozy, and charming atmosphere for the massages. We had two massages and both massages were not really relaxing. It was not due to the technique of the massage; the therapists were masters of their craft. The preparation in the room was all without any special atmosphere or warmth. Especially in a wellness hotel, a loving setting would be much more charming. But as I said, this is complaining at a high level, because we love the Kranzbach and would love to come back.

Good food should be part of it
I love the Kranzbach and, for years, have found this resort to be a home base for several stays a year. I always go for 3-5 nights. The hotel is perfect for me and my dog and fulfills everything I wish for to relax for a few days. Unfortunately, I can no longer say that about the kitchen. That has changed with the new head chef. For dinner, there are completely inexplicable dishes, often Asian (Japanese, etc.), which you first have to Google. Is it too much to ask to then at least offer an alternative for guests who do not like raw fish and sushi? I have been very impressed with the kitchen so far. Now I have to say that this new way of cooking has nothing to do with a hotel in the mountains. Some regionality and no empty plates, on which you have to search for the food, should be possible, right? In the evening, I was hungry from hiking and swimming, and then this food came. I would love to come back if there are alternatives to these dishes.

Worth a trip!
The Kranzbach, a hotel of superlatives: outstanding hospitality, beautiful ambience, exquisite rooms, the spa area: spacious with 5 different pools and numerous saunas , very professional ,pleasant wellness treatments; the food, 4× a day, a poem; - all embedded in the grandiose nature of the Karwendel ,Wettersteingebirge and Zugspitze massifs. In a word: unique!

Recreation, rest, wellness and hiking
Kranzbach has an exceptionally breathtaking secluded location in the middle of nature and is surrounded by forest and mountains. We had a great room with fantastic views and were relaxed shortly after arrival. Those looking for peace and relaxation will find it in this beautiful hotel.

5 STAR EXPERIENCE
The old Kranzbach is back! We were pleased to see the positive changes which have occurred since our last visit, specifically the time change for dinner seatings. You got it just right! We've been visiting Kranzbach consistently since 2016 and absolutely love this property. The setting, rooms and staff are all incredible. It's a wonderful place to relax and re-charge!
