Enjoyable stay, pleasant service, and good food. If you like to experience a domestic atmosphere and delicious meals there is a nearby restaurant "Tiroler Landgasthaus".

Visit to the fair in Nurnberg.
Cons
This hotel is 60Km far away from Nurnberg.
At the entrance a strong smell of smoke, not a good first impression.
The structure is aged and the furniture are aligned to it.
The TV have only local channel.
The bath don't have a hairdryer and my room had a shower cabin with the door with some problems.
Due to the fact that the hotel is located in a very small town we taken a dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel, the quality was low and we waited a lot without any reason, the total number of customer was 8 and we have waiting 45 min. to eat something.
And at the end the church tower rings at 6 am.
Pro
The highway is 10 min from the hotel, 1h total travel time to the fair.
Free WiFi, but require the login/password at the reception.
Breakfast not bad, and was include in the price we had paid.

Overnight stop in Bavaria

Driving from UK to Greece, needed a hotel stop at short notice as was too tired to drive much further without a sleep. Tried our usual stop-over in Lenting without success and made it to the Alten Peter. Outside of the hotel is currently being re-painted but will be finished shortly. Rooms were fairly basic without tea or coffee facilities. Decent size and comfortable bed. Restaurant was quite full and with locals which is normally a good sign. Food was freshly cooked so a wee wait but worth it. Sadly we did not do the meal justice as both of us too tired but good sized portions and very tasty. Breakfast was typical continental with for a change properly kept hot boiled eggs which was a pleasant surprise! Would we stop again? In a word "Yes"

Good for price - medium quality

Near to motorway located in a nice Bavaria village. The hotel is of medium quality, do not expect anything excellent. However was good for one night stop. I can reccomend for this purpose but without great enthusiasm
