Relaxed stay

The hotel is located directly on the promenade and the harbour. In front of the house is a nice playground. The way to the ferry to the dune is short. We had a room in the 2nd floor. Floor with balcony and sea view. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, with suitcase not quite easy. Room and breakfast were good.

Super friendly and familiar. We were warmly welcomed and provided with all the information we needed for the island time. In the apartment under the roof we could watch the lighthouse in the evening and the sunrise in the morning. Were self-catering. For this the small kitchen in the room perfectly sufficient.

Great little hotel - extremely clean

This is a truly great little hotel right on the waterfront. We had a double room with a balcony on the side of the building, our room did not have a view of the water, but we only used it for sleeping, so that was no problem. If you plan to spend more time in our room, We think it would be worth paying the extra money for a seaside room. My parents had one of the apartments with a nice balcony - this was a seaside room, and had a great view of the waterfront.
The breakfast was nice, and had a good selection, no hot options though, but plenty of other things.
The service was very friendly, the owner her self did everything in regards to the guests.
The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, I don't think we ever stayed in a cleaner place.
All in all this is highly recommendable, and we would certainly stay here again, and recommend anyone else to do the same.

Great stay, nice staff

This hotel was reasonably priced for a comfortable stay and a great staff. Our check- in date was dependent on a boat arrival, and was a little wishy- washy... but the staff was very easy to work with via e-mail on this. A great spot to stay in a beautiful location!

Ein kleines feines Hotel

Das Hotel hat eine optimale Lage mit Blick aufs Meer und sehr schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wünsche werden umgehend erfüllt. Hilfreich ist auch die Abstellmöglichkeit für Gepäck bis zur Abreise am Nachmittag.
Helgoland hat bei uns einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen auch durch die Ruhe und die entspannte Atmosphäre.
