Great location - good breakfast buffet

The location of the hotel on the Rhine is special. My room was very good - modern and very clean. The staff was very nice. The only criticism was the breakfast buffet. I would have expected more from a house of this quality. Why isn't fresh fruit offered here? Canned fruit is a no-go. As a suitable addition I would recommend Bircher muesli.

Location great / room much too warm

The location is great - direct walking distance to the Merkur Arena - the breakfast was also good.
What was not good: the rooms are very poorly insulated. We had approx. 35 degrees in the room - that is 10 more than outside.
Our room did not have a fan.
Unfortunately, the aircraft noise is also very strong.
Okay for one night, but nothing more

Dinner disappointing

We went to the restaurant. Three dishes ordered, one was forgotten and served when the other people were already done.
Restaurant very nicely located, nice view of the Rhine. Food for the prices rather mediocre. For us, unfortunately, the service was a disaster. Map on the Internet did not match the menu in the restaurant, map bore the name of the fair that was just taking place.

Eat somewhere else

concerns only the restaurant: Kitchen and service not satisfactory, communication poor (hot sauce for children despite hint). Food is not brought to a group in a coordinated manner. Decoration despite ordering at rest stop level.

Too bad, good was once.

We were yesterday in the restaurant Gänseessen, the leg was inedible ; the
Dishes on the plates differed, in the steak order instead of
Triplets just put French fries. We went home hungry.
