Perfect for student groups: Warm atmosphere and top service

We were with a large student group in this hostel and, as every year, we were absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere was relaxed, open, and friendly. We felt completely comfortable and welcome from the very first second.
A huge compliment goes to the entire hostel team. The staff were helpful, super nice, and always had an open ear for us.
The topic of allergies is often difficult during class trips, but everything went absolutely smoothly here. The team was extremely flexible in accommodating our special requests and provided great, safe alternatives. Thanks to this fantastic support, all students were able to enjoy a really delicious breakfast together without worries.

Tausend Dank für euer tolles Feedback und das Vertrauen über mehrere Jahre hinweg. Es freut uns riesig, dass ihr euch mit eurer Schülergruppe so wohlgefühlt habt und die entspannte Atmosphäre genießen konntet.
Besonders schön zu hören ist, dass das Frühstück für alle entspannt und unkompliziert war. Rücksicht und Flexibilität bei besonderen Wünschen gehören für uns einfach dazu.
Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf eure nächste Klassenfahrt nach Dresden und darauf, euch wieder bei uns im Hostel Mondpalast zu begrüßen.

Always happy to return....

I was there for a concert in Dresden, booked 10 mixed rooms.
I felt very safe in the room.
The tram is just around the corner. Great neighborhood for partying.
The restrooms were also clean, top-notch.
The bed was already made, amazing staff.
Super nice.

The staff and service was absolutely wonderful. The people snoring for 3 days in my room was unbearable. They need to have a contingency plan for people with sleep apnoea as the decibel level was unbearable.

While staff was friendly and helpful the accommodations themselves were poor. The room was icy cold and the heater would not stay on. The shower was a nightmare compact and dirty. On my first day there when I went to shower in the morning the entire women’s shower area was flooded and there were wads of hair everywhere. It was disgusting.
