Good value property and a good base from which to explore Dresden

The Alte Remise a small private property run on the basis of an 'apart-hotel'. The rooms are self contained with sink, cooking utensils & crockery, refrigerator and a microwave oven as well as a bathroom with shower and good hot water.
Location is about 10 minutes out of the city centre by tram and lies between two tram stops - about 4 minutes walk away. The local area is well served by restaurants and bars and there's a supermarket across the road.
The owner is very friendly and goes out of her way to answer questions and make sure that guests have a good stay.

Beautiful newly renovated, spacious rooms in great area of Dresden

We had a wonderful stay at the Alte Remise which offers a handful of beuatiful newly renovated, spotlessly clean and spacious rooms with immaculate new ensuite bathrooms. It was very comfortable and the owners are wonderful hosts, espeically Anne who gave us some fantastic restaurant and cafe suggestions as well as assistance with other information about getting around Dresden. They were very prompt to respond to email queries when I made the booking too.
The rooms are very quiet even though the building is close the main road. It is a fifteen minute walk to the Old Town and a short tram ride from the nearby Konigsbrucker Strasse. It is located near the many restaurants, cafes, pubs etc of the Aussere Neustadt. This is absolutely the best mid-range accommodation option in Dresden!

Idyllische gute Lage

Wir waren für 2 Nächte in der alten Remise. Die Lage in der Dresdner Neustadt ist sehr gut. Viele Lokale und Frühstücksgelegenheiten sind schnell zu erreichen. Da wir lieber herzhaft frühstücken, haben wir keinen süßen Frühstücks-Korb bestellt.
Die Vermieter sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, und wir haben gut geschlafen.
Da man die Zimmer nicht ganz abdunkeln kann, waren wir relativ früh wach. Aber das war natürlich nicht so schlimm!
Der Garten ist sehr schön, wenn man Gelegenheit hat dort draußen zu sitzen- unbedingt nutzen.

Schöne Unterkunft an sehr guter Lage

Freundliche Begrüssung, schöne Zimmer, gute Lage in der äusseren Neustadt. Wir waren begeistert - super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Wer gerne im Szene-Viertel unterwegs ist, schön, preisgünstig und unkompliziert wohnt, ist hier am richtigen Ort.

Etwas Besonderes

Von Bekannten wurde uns in Dresden die Neustadt empfohlen, auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft sind wir auf die alte Remise gestoßen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. In einer kleinen Seitenstraße versteckt sich diese ausgefallene Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind klein aber fein und viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Man hat in dem Zimmer eine kleine Kücheninsel und einen ausklappbaren Esstisch. Das kleine Duschbad ist zweckgemäß ausgestattet und es ist alles sauber. Man kann in dem Wintergarten wenn man möchte ein süßes Frühstück zu sich nehmen, welches wir immer sehr gerne in Anspruch genommen haben. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es schon sehr viele kleinere Restaurants und auch Supermärkte und bis zur Alaunstraße ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Ebenfalls in der Nähe ist eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle mit der man in die Altstadt fahren kann, man kann diese aber auch Problemlos zu Fuss erreichen. Die Inhaberin hilft einem bei Fragen zur Umgebung gerne weiter und war auch sehr freundlich.
