Great stay
Great hotel. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean and spacious. Great location, 15 min walk into the centre. Thank you!

Shocking hotel
Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing from start to finish.
Upon arrival, we discovered that the air conditioning in our room was not working, meaning we had to change rooms. While this issue was eventually resolved, the staff showed very little concern and seemed largely uninterested in ensuring guests had a pleasant stay.
Things only got worse on our second night. When we returned to our room, we found that it had not been cleaned and had not been restocked with fresh towels or toiletries. As this is something I would consider standard in any hotel, I went to reception to ask why. I was then informed that guests must request housekeeping before midday each day. This had never been explained to us at check-in, and I naturally assumed the room would be serviced unless we had specifically requested otherwise.
The room itself looked nothing like the photos advertised online. It was very basic and appeared quite tired and poorly maintained. There were sections of skirting board missing, and the carpets were lifting in places, which not only looked unprofessional but also created a potential trip hazard. These are not the standards I would expect from a hotel charging the prices it does.
What makes this even more frustrating is that we chose this hotel over the Maritim Hotel and paid more, expecting a higher standard of accommodation and service. Unfortunately, the experience was nowhere near worth the extra cost.
Overall, the lack of communication, poor customer service, poor room maintenance, and misleading room presentation left us extremely disappointed. We would not stay here again and, we wish we had chose the Maritim instead.

Air conditioning is not working.
This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel.
Central, very well served, excellent breakfast, river view.
This time my room faced the street and there was some construction work. Renovation in progress. They did not disturb from a noise perspective, but evidently they had some impact on the plumbing system since the air conditioning was not working. 36 degrees and no air conditioning: madness! Considering the price per night!!!

Astonished already upon arrival
The staff lacks empathy and professionalism. I have asked about check-in multiple times. Each time I received the response that the room was ready, but I could not check in yet. The bar was closed, and I was not offered any drinks. All guests who arrived after me were able to check in.
I had paid extra for an early check-in. However, communication only occurred loudly across the entire hallway with other staff members. No MOD or similar was available to speak to.
Sorry, but there is an absolute need for training. Such a great hotel must offer more.

Trendy house by the Rhine but with weaknesses for visitors staying longer.
Modern, stylishly designed house with well-equipped rooms directly by the Rhine. Partially, however, with unqualified staff and inadequate organization, especially when conducting a seminar for a week in the house. Culinary performance: rather average. The many rat traps around the house do not create a positive impression either. Nevertheless: Everything in the house is clean.
