Almost Perfect!

This is an amazing building, renovated to the the highest standards, as truly amazing place to stay. Views of the lake from all sides, stunning bar and restaurant and large characterful rooms and suites.
It's almost impossible to fault and you really won't be disappointed, however...
Be aware that there is no lift, and there was only one small lady on duty most of the day, so I made 5 trips up and down with suitcases.
The landings are small and they have put tables and chair on them, this means that getting past with cases is hard work and a little dangerous, the landings should be left clear.
The only other fault was the number of spiders in the apartment, about 20 in each room. We are not fussed by one or two, but someone needs to go around the ceilings with a hoover, because there we webs and spiders in every corner.
Apart from these small things, the apartments we were kitted out, large rooms, good quality furniture and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

Practical place to stay in Bitterfeld

I stay in the Bernsteinsee in Bitterfeld when on business. This is a basic hotel, with very friendly staff and a great breakfast. The rooms are clean and large, but basic and practical.
The bar of the hotel is operated by a third party and is open sometimes, but not Always. depending on who the owner is you can have a light meal. There are a few other places to eat in Bitterfeld, the Kartoffel Haus being one of my favourites.

Gepflegt und zentral

Ein schönes Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmern. Reichhaltiges Frühstück vom Buffet. Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Nicht weit vom Industriepark und daher auch gut für Geschöftsreisende. Die Natur ist auch nicht weit entfernt.
