A nice hotel stay

Excellent hotel for the location, the right compromise between quality and price.
Very clean and excellent service. Comfortable and large rooms, ideal for a family.
In my case the lift was broken and they hadn't notified us, I was a little disappointed about this but I can overlook it considering that otherwise it was perfect. There is no fridge in the room and breakfast is not included... but compared to the costs it has I couldn't expect it.

No refund for a cancellation due to personal circumstances. Not willing to answer or accommodate me in any way whatsoeve

I have a room booked with m68 Hotel from 27th Feb to 1st march. I have explained to the hotel I can't travel to Berlin due to personal circumstances and another circumstances which are bad. The hotel hasn't offered a refund and hasn't offered to do anything to accommodate me in anyway. I message everyday but I get ignored by the hitel.. I'm writing in hope the hotel will see this as well as other people and action will be taken. The hotel has plenty of notice and the hotel is fully booked up for those dates but still won't refund me the money.

Hotel Policy

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with the hotel. Due to the Coronavirus I was not able to travel to Germany, and considering this situation I asked to change the dates of my stay, since I was told the reservation is non-refundable (another way to make money on customers during these times), but they would not even do that. Also, the staff on the phone hung up on me as she could not speak basic English, and I suppose it was the easiest thing to do to avoid dealing with the client. Therefore, I would not make any reservations and recommend them in the future.

Hotel in Stadtmitte

If you like classic music the hotel is 15 minutes on foot to opera houses and Philharmonie. If you stay in Advent time, the best market at Gendarmenmarkt is near. In walking distance there are Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburger Tor ...
I stayed in a single room with bathroom. The room was surprisingly large. It was clean but very poor equipped. The lighting was weak. In the bathroom there was no shelf under the mirror or anywhere else. Fortunately, the table in the room was big. There were el. socket and switch by the bed, but out of function. I had to move the bed nearer to the socket in the wall. The room was oriented toward the busy street (Leipzigerstr.) There are no AC and I suppose that it is hard to sleep by the open window. I stayed in cold weather. The breakfast is buffet style, simple but adequate for the price. A little bit more investment in the hotel would be good idea.

Very basic.

The hotel is super basic, even very old fashioned and a lot of tear and wear. The rooms are okay, bathroom clean without any luxury. Breakfast not at all wauw. Good for one night. Staff did not spoke (well) English.
