Anytime again - perfect short trip

We had booked a short trip with half board. In short, everything was perfect. From the super friendly staff to the excellent food. The hotel itself, room, spa, thermal bath in very good condition, a single delight. We have to thank the Häcker family for keeping this historically unique hotel in such perfect condition. We definitely haven't been here the last time.

Weekend stay

It’s a very nice hotel but not worth the money for the stay. Breakfast was very good in a very beautiful room. The beds are not comfortable and pillows are terrible. The river view is definitely a better choice of a room. If you did not stay at this hotel yet you should for just the experience.

Other time

Slow down from the first minute. The staff were very friendly and trained throughout. Or... guided by the senior manager all the time. Certainly exhausting for Mrs Häcker. You can tell she wants to deliver everything to her standard. Certainly staff problems like anywhere in restaurants or hotels.
From the first minute you feel transported to a different time. Breakfast from 7.00 am with everything your heart desires. Orange juice and vegetable juice squeezers to serve yourself. Coffee specialties. Birthday kids get an extra surprise. Package bookings often include afternoon coffee and selection of cakes. For half board four courses and salad from the buffet. Large portions and solid quality. Wine selection at good prices. The wellness area is renovated and various saunas invite you to try out. Outdoor area still shady at this time of year, in summer definitely terrifically cool. You miss a bunch of housemaids who use a duster to rid everything of cobwebs and dust. The house is huge. Nothing can be said about the Ayurvedic treatment and spa department. All quite detached from the hotel operation.
The bar was unfortunately only open late on Wednesdays, as the bartender still had to help in dinner service. However, the audience doesn't seem to be too interested in the open bar either. The average age is high. Lots of regulars. I recommend reading the relax guide. He describes the house grandiosely and has awarded a lily.
In Bad Ems there is otherwise rather....nothing;-)
The spa park nice for walking, but small. Personally, I am very grateful to the reception as they were able to help me a lot due to illness. And by phone before the trip begins. Uncomplicated, friendly and at no additional cost. This help is second to none THANK YOU. Repeat? Anytime again. Room on the Lahn side with great views.
Small but fine review. The line between guiding and strictly monitoring personnel is fine and seekers fluid. The guest should not be able to read that the use of the private mobile phone is strictly prohibited during working hours;-).
Finding motivated employees is certainly not easy, but if they enjoy working, it is priceless.

Interesting Russian style place, Highly recommended

an old hotel built in the 1700's is certainly carries a lot of history. the staff were very pleasant and helpful. the breakfast was surprisingly very good.
i was in the 4th floor. not much of a view, but Definity quite during nighttime for a good night sleep
location is convenient where you have close-by cafe's and 5 minutes walk to LIDL market in case you needed a snack or grocery.

You have to like it

The reception staff, as well as the Restaurant Service were very professional and courteous.
Had HP booked. The breakfast buffet had a very good selection, the 4 course menu was excellent. You could choose between 3 main courses.
The hotel itself has antique decor, the spa area was good.
