We stayed here during our cycle tour along the Vélodyssée. Warm and efficient welcome and service. Beautiful garden, lovely with a beer next to the pool. Nice and comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Recommended!

Insufficient
Room in a Villa overlooking a swimming pool (limited hours). Warm welcome and with good advice (catering, bike rental). Room not very large but sufficient but poorly soundproofed (no problem to hear the conversation of neighbors). However some flaws: no air conditioning, no support for the suitcase, closet cluttered by the duvet, no real surface to put his things in the bathroom, no soap in the shower and especially at all electric time no socket side bed (unless to unplug a lamp) to charge phones, tablets and other camera batteries, breakfast at minimum 1 croissant and bread (plus cereal) honey offered very limited. Free parking but outside.

Basic minimum - not my idea of 'boutique' - very disappointing.
Nice pool but not available after 7pm and only opened just before check out (10.30am) i.e. closed at the times you would want a swim. Only one medium sized towel per person. NO toiletries. Basic breakfast around kitchen sink (or outside). Cars not allowed inside the gates so bags etc have to be carried a long way. Certainly not worth 100€.
I was looking forward to sharing lovely time with my daughter and granddaughter but it was very disappointing.It felt like the enthusiasm for guests had worn off and everything was done to a minimum.

Pleasant room and helpful owner
We were cycling across France and were grateful first of all for the excellent directions the owner gave, the lovely pool and tea and coffee in the room. It was peaceful and well located, the room was stylishly decorated, the breakfast was excellent and we were given more helpful tips on the route ahead by the owner. Should we ever do this trip again we wouldn't hesitate to book. The owner is bilingual

An oasis
We are a small family of three doing the Vélodysé from Rochefort to St. Girons. We read some of the reviews before arriving and were a bit apprehensive. Finally we we amazed at the value for money. The family room was spotless and tastefully kitted out. The pool was big enough for a good swim to rest our legs and was a real God send. The host was a lovely guy who was really happy to give us lots of local knowledge on restos, bars and cycle paths. We would certainly recommend this place to our friends. We didn't want to leave. We are now on our next stop and sorely missing Atlantic Villa.
