More details
When we arrived on a Sunday as discussed from 5pm there was no one to welcome us. After a long wait, futile ring and call then came a couple who also manages the plant and also lives in this yard. Since we do not speak Flemish and little French we could communicate well. We were then assigned and shown the Montana. It is the only apartment that also has a very cozy outdoor sofa in the courtyard next to the large table. The apartment is accessible on 2 floors via a small spiral staircase. In the first room 1 double bed and 1 single bed overlooking the courtyard, behind was a room with a double bed. The window here overlooks the campsite. Tall people need to take care of your head so you don't collide with the roof beams when you get into bed. The bed in the back room is very cozy and the rooms are amazingly well tempered. However, a bath is on the ground floor also with window into a kabuff from the campsite, wherever any babble came from. Didn't bother much though. Super shower in the bathtub with really good pressure, a strong hairdryer, a washing machine, ample towels, gr. Laundry dirt, lots of toilet paper, soap and even room spray for good scent for afterwards.
In the greater ground floor the kitchen was equipped with everything. Really good glasses, wine and sparkling wine, very nice dishes, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dish washer, towels, zewa, broom.....there was nothing missing and we had to buy nothing except groceries. Groceries are cheaply available behind Sangatte in front of Calais in a huge shopping center. Even a microwave and a large freezer were not missing in the small kitchen corner.
Many German TV programs a semi comfortable seating area and a dining table with comfortable chairs. It's small but fine.
Next door there is a friture in front of a very good restaurant next to the campsite. The smell was present in the afternoon.
Along the road you came to the large parking lots where you park the car after you could unload it in the yard. Right next to it there was a cool beach bar. The way further you came to the wonderful beach. Dogs and bicycles from April to September are unfortunately not allowed. But not everyone sticks to it. The place is small, but there are even more restaurants and from here you can walk wonderfully or visit towns and lookouts nearby. The landscape is a dream.

Nice base.
The location is fantastic and the farm is ideal for a stay with a group while still providing the necessary privacy.
We also rented the common room.
Unfortunately, the reception was less this time.
We arrived later (10 p.m.) due to heavy rain, the rest of the family had already arrived and were in the common room. We received a not so friendly welcome in the pouring rain.
Apparently we had to take a small road at the back to get to the entrance of our room. It was closed. The car was not allowed to remain parked until the rain shower was over, because he said it would not slow down. Result, soaked to the bone, being able to bring the luggage to the house. The manager did help us a bit.
The next morning we asked for some pellets (included in the price). The damp rain weather caused some chill in the houses and the electric fires did not dry the soaked clothes. 1 niece noticed a burnt smell when lighting a fire, that was not possible, the manager smelled nothing, so he did not get pellets. We didn't just get the pellets either, due to rationing and war in Ukraine. In the end we received 1 full "pellet bucket" for the 4 houses we rented + common area.
We also had to show understanding because the man's clothes were also soaked. Small detail, they live there, we were provided with 2 nights.
There are 3 refrigerators in the common area. Of which we were not allowed to use 2 refrigerators because they were intended for workers?
Too bad with a group of 22 people, and after all you pay for it.
1 sister was scolded when she asked for extra wood for the barrel sauna. Kindling was provided in the sauna, so we had to make do with that. There was a supply of wood available, but upon insistence we were allowed to use it for some blocks. The manager initially did not allow her to go to the sauna, because it was not her house.
She insisted that we were 1 group.
The manager also came into the common room several times for the little things he needed. That didn't give us a very pleasant feeling.
