Beautiful establishment

I forgot about this place a bit. It's a shame. And it is with pleasure that I rediscovered it.Beautiful modernized room , welcome and efficient service. Good breakfast of neat, well presented and tasty dishes. Only a little unpleasant remark: slightly high rates. But hey... .I don't know the pool , nor the hotel but I am convinced that , like the restaurant , they are neat and good class places . Go there!!!

Evening step by step.

Internal parking for car to book in advance because many limited paces but possibilities to park on the street without parking meter.
A charging station for VE available, socket type 2 (11kw surely) or domestic (2kw in fact). Very professional and impeccable welcome from the staff present that evening.
Fast check-in and allocation of a room in accordance with the reservation, room tastefully reconditioned in the attic, so in silence under the roofs of the house and with a beautiful view of the historic castle of Duras.
Functional room, with a large flat screen facing the bed, a nice corner jacuzzi usable by 2 people at a time, an office with kettle and coffees, an electric shutter, and a bathroom with a large shower and 2 basins facing a large mirror.
Good bedding, no audible noises.

Everything is overpriced and without any quality

To avoid, unique menu at 42 euros per person including Salmon Gravellax (4 small cubes of salmon with a dubious sauce) Duck breast (very small breast) and mini crème brulee. Room at 103 euros of 9 m2 with a shower where the curtain sticks to your body so small. And 10 euros tax for my dog.
A real scandal, to flee.

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel, some rooms overlooking the castle of Duras. Very comfortable room. Only downside the very noisy ventilation.

Extremely comfortable and fabulous food

We stayed 2 nights in September 2025. Our small group was on a bike trip through Bordeaux and found the hotel to be extremely comfortable. The room was spacious, king size bed and roomy, open shower and a comfortable tub.
The restaurant was fabulous. Our meals consisted of duck, beef, fish and lamb over the corse of our stay. All were cooked perfectly and presented in a very special way, We had an aperitif at each dinner to start us off, a wonderful appetizer, entree and great dessert. After a long day, the hotel service brought a huge smile to our day.
A must stay when in Duras and the Bordeaux region of France.
